Opioids Oxycotin Perdue (how to bypass the time release)

I'm currently taking 20mg of Oxycotin Perdue. I chewed them up, and got relatively buzzed but feels like there was some effect lost. How can I abuse these anti-abuse pills, is chewing them up effective?
