Oxycontin I'm out going to doc on Thursday ...help

I have been on various meds, but have never experienced Oxycontin until a few weeks ago. It works so well, and I truly want some more...how do I approach my Doctor with this request? Thanks
 
Just flat out demand the things. Doctors have a legal obligation to give you anything that you ask for. Tell the doc that you will call your lawyers and sue his ass if he doesn't give you a script for 90 80mg OC. That's guaranteed to work.

You don't approach the doctor with that request because you will not be recieving any schedule 2 narcotics from your doctor without the required tests to convince him that you need a schedule 2 narcotic. If you were sick and twisted, you might *try* picking up a PDR, but if you're asking the question you probably won't be able to satisfactorily work with the answer by Thursday.
 
Prescription Desk Refrence - your grandmother might have one.
Unless you can prove you suffer from intense chronic pain , I wouldn't bother trying.
Try threating to sue and if it doesn't work your going to have to find a new doctor......

Look, you do NOT request as drug by it's name UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN ON IT ALREADY ... you could possible mention "I have heard people have had great success with OxyContin" but thats pushing it..
If you have never been on it, and you don;'t have some seriopus physical condition - well, don't expect to get any...
I actually DO have disc problems (something OC *IS* prescrubed for) and it was months of physicl thearpay, TONS of garbage like Soman and Lodie... after a psychological reiew I was put on it.. I currently take 40mg, twice a day, with 15 OxyIR for breakthrough...
