Oxycontin Addiction

Oh, and one other question. Phreex says 3-5 days to reset your tolerance. I've heard others say 1-2 months, others years, and others never. What's the deal with this? Is it actually that user-specific? (Just a reminder, it took me 80-100 to get high on monday morning). When I quit before for 48 hours, my tolerance went down by a good 30 mg or so. So what's the real deal with this?

Just curious, but you said you were taking 100mg, and it was $80, there is no 100mg pill so what size(mg) pills were you buying? and how much? It is just an odd combo and baffles my F up ass, lol.

well... your tolerance should go down by day, but it will raise quickly as you do more of the drug. lets say you quit for 2 days and you get a 30mg drop in tolerance if you do that for 2 consecutive days you will probably be right back at the 80-100mg tolerance level that you were at before... I dont know, that's just from my experience with narcotics...

I may be wrong, but I believe that I am safe in doing OC's again soon. I don't know, I could be underestimating the drug, but it seems to me that I could safely do oxycontin every week or two without developing another habit.
Yes, you're absolutely wrong. And, yes, you are completely underestimating the drug. Love In Vein gave some great advice that I've given many times, that you probably wont pay attention to-but would only benfit you--do a search on opiates and read ALL the horror stories. It's really really hard to use on a "couple times a week" basis. I don't know how many times I've told myself (and I'm sure we've all told ourselves) exactly what you're telling us right now. "I'm NOT going to get addicted" Everything that Love In Vein said in the first post was right, especially:
"I'm not telling you what could happen, I'm telling you what WILL happen"
It's extremely unfortunate that you are most likely not going to listen to anything that all of us EXPERIENCED opiate users are telling you. But don't worry, when you start posting here about how you've been using everyday for months, years even and how you should have quit a long long time ago--I will be right here to say "We told you so..." :)
QUIT NOW!!!
While you're still young! And PLEASE PLEASE do a fucking search-read what we've all gone through because of opiates. Opiates is the kind of drug that you can't control, because it controls you.
If you don't want your parents to know (but they will eventually when you start stealing and lying and all of that bullshit that comes with an opiate addiction) make up some excuse to see the doctor then ask for your appointment to be *confidential*. But be warned, most doctors only give out benzos for the first couple of times you ask for them. Don't expect to be able to come back time after time--and I'm sure thats what your doc will be expecting if he/she has any experience with opiate users.

Ok, bro, lol. 15 a tab, ouch though bro, thats habit is got to be eatin away at your pocket.

of course your not going to think about it when you want to rid your body of the substance...because in your mind you never want to feel that sick again...but as soon as you get through the physical symtoms is when the psychological side will smack you in the face...just listen to yourself...YOU WANT TO GET HIGH..you haven't kicked yet....you have a lot further to go...
If you are in need to be blowed all day, Try benzos for awhile..you will develope an aquired taste for them..then in a month or two..switch back if you feel you can
well
anyway ....just a report, I am still clean. It has been nearly a week. Most of the physical effects have subsided, but I still think about getting high all day long...Its pretty hard to not do it too! ecspecially when I worked so hard getting all my perscriptions and they just sit there collecteing dust now.. I feel good though and am going to stick to being opiate free for awhile
