Lately i have been using all 3 of these heavy drugs. The oxy is for a jaw infection, the prozac and clonazepam are for my anxiety disorder.

I feel so fucked up all day. even when i stopped using the oxycodone i feel like a zombie. It numbs my emotions compelety to the point were the things that used to drive me crazy dont even bother me. I am really happy as weird as it sounds, especially after what i have been going through.

Anyone have similar results of these drugs?

Thats kinda what those drugs are supposed to do (in a way at least). Sept the oxy i mean. But yah those are all (to some extent at least) mood "controlling" drugs.

That combo would be quite emotionally anesthetic. I am certainly not surprised. The Prozac is controlling your emotions and mood via ensuring inhibition of the re-uptake of serotonin so there is always active serotonin, which would reduce anxiety, obsessiveness, and often depression. SSRI's, like Prozac, have a good mood-blunting effect, and this really why they can be helpful in treating depression and anxiety. The oxycodone is simply inducing euphoria and feelings of wellness while blocking the natural responses to any pain, physical or emotional. This would help greatly with anxiety and depression, and would block painful responses. It is a very strong mood-elevator. The clonazepam is active through yet another mechanism of action, being GABAergic, which really works by just relaxing you and, at higher doses, sedating you, maybe just not making you care. It can dull thoughts and emotional response, too. The combination, I am sure, is very anesthetic.

SSRIs aren't really antidepressants for me, all they can do is create a state when your mood is strangely elevated but mostly it's not a pleasurable feeling. Also, it's easy to get a manic episode, some cause it easier than other.

And clonazepam is not a good option for anxiety. It's too strong with unnecessary muscle relaxation effects. The strongest benzodiazepine for anxiety used should be alprazolam and in most cases I wouldn't go further than bromazepam. It's very easy to get dependant on this shit, especially taking such a strong one.

well of course your gonna be happy, when your all jammed up with all that stuff in your system everyday, your gonna be happy, because the oxycodone will get the serotonin to flow through your brain, and the prozac is gonna make you not care about things that would normally drive you crazy, thats just how these drugs work.

i've always found SSRIs to be sort of... blunting when it comes to emotion. i don't know how to properly describe it, for me they take the bad away with the good, and seeing how the bad far outweigh the good emotions in my life i should have welcomed them with my arms outstretched arms... but things like constant nausea (even after 4-6 week period where side effects are supposed to disappear) and the complete removal of joy from any sexual act were two things i am to this day not able to accept. these side effects were especially pronounced in me and strangely i tolerated venlafaxine much better...
