Back in the day when I would get high off of oxycodone it would make me extreemly happy and carefree. Now it's basically impossible to get high off oxycodone and I'm looking for a drug that has the same effect. Does anyone know of any drugs that make you feel that way? Euphoric, happy, carefree, most importantly super happy but still in full capacity of my mind (aka being able to still work, just with a smile on my face).

Thanks

It's opiate tolerance. There is no solution to achieve those initial highs. I'd suggest taking a tolerance break.

Modnote: this poster is likely not familiar with the OD guidelines or the BLUA, the mission of bluelight or harm reduction, and will read the OD guidelines and the BLUA and abide by them as they agreed to upon creation of their account, the links can be found in my signature at the bottom of this page, in the closing post of this thread.

If you weren't so new to the site, your post recommending heroin to the OP would have earned you an infraction.

NMDA-antagonist. There is some research there.
As a chronic pain patient, I must say that NMDA antagonists w/ opioids is pretty BS. There may be some science behind why it might prevent tolerance, but I can tell you that my experiences taking NMDA antagonists with my narcotic pain killers, I didn't feel like they did a damn thing.... I don't even bother taking them anymore because it does nothing and I want to spare my liver as much as possible. I STILL take chelated Magnesium every day with my vitamins and it's supposed to be an NMDA antagonist, but it doesn't feel like it's helping me keep my opioid tolerance in check... AT ALL. I take it for it's vitamin / health benefits. It makes no difference whether I take magnesium or not, the effects of opioid tolerance feel largely the same. There is no panacea, there is no magic pill you can take that will solve all your problems and then some, there's no pill that will guarantee it can make you feel enough euphoria to thrive, there's no such thing as a free lunch. You're looking for a free lunch every day.

nothing that won't sink you deeper
Best post in this thread by a landslide. Others could receive infractions.

This thread is in direct violation of the OD Guidelines "what should I take" type threads, so in my best judgement (and due to the extremely low quality of feedback received except for Ho-Chi-Minh, who is extremely knowledgeable) this thread's done.
