daily use of 60mg taken 4 times day in 15mg doses....been taking for 3 years. I did a long taper (1 month) and I was expecting a difficult withdrawal with more mental than physical side effects...but the reality of it is was very easy, i had nearly no physical side effects other than some fatigue. I actually felt worse when I was down to a single 15mg dose per day than after I stopped completely.....
this is the second time I have withdraw from oxy and it hasnt been difficult at all, why is this?? does taking effexor with abilify have anything to do with it in that they help with the withdrawal?? am just kinda surprised because I was so afraid of quitting and expected the worse, had planned to take days off work and stuff and didnt even have to.....after reading so many horrible stories I was really scared shitless....has anyone else not had issues withdrawing from oxy like me? is this normal?

Oxy isn't too bad compared to Heroin. Be thankful for that. Especially because you tapered you didn't have to experience any restlessness. If you got down to 15mg a day, there wouldn't be terrible withdrawals. It does depend on the person though. What is terrible for some is easier for others. Don't get overly confident about it though.
