OXY/ DIULADID - safe levels of use

I don't think weight has anything to do with tolerence, but I do know that someone with no tolerence banging 40 mgs of oxycodone is the dumbest idea I have ever heard. 40 mgs IV of oxycodone could kill someone with no tolerence, a better dose is 10 mgs IV.
 
First of all, about the thing about injecting a 1/4 ounce of coke in one sitting... I think that he just miswrote that because that is just way too much. Also, injecting Oxycontin and injecting Cocaine are two totally different things, its like comparing Vicodin and Ritalin.. they are both pills right so they must be the same?? At least the are with your way of rationalizing. Taking 20mg would "do the trick" and it wouldn't "send him to the mourge" so why advise 40mg?

How can anyone bang that much cola and live to tell about it. Ok, I don't IV.
I would agree that about 25 to 30 mgs of OC iv'd would be a lovely buzz for an opiate nieve person.
Banging those dillie's just sounds so yummy.Still, I am a chicken and won't iv them. Damn it!!!:X

See, "defaultused" was one of my subjects in my experiments on 80mg IV oxycodone for a non-tolerant user. And as he mentioned, he did vomit, layed on my couch for a while, but otherwise was fine. Evidently he otherwise enjoyed the high. I prepared and administered the shot, as in the other cases. Again, i dont suggest trying this unless you have antagonists around.

Although all the subjects were fine, i do not suggest IVing 80mg of oxycodone without a tolerance, i dont even suggest taking that dose without a tolerance by any route of administration. If your used to shooting, especially high doses of cocaine (which lessens the effect of oxycodone) 40mg would be a reasonable dose.
 
40 mgs of oxycodone would make me very sick when I didn't have much of a tolerence taking it orally, 40 mgs of oxycodone IV could kill someone and is very excessive imo. I would suggest 10 mgs and adjust the dose from there.
 
damn guys,

whoever is supporting the fact that 40mgs of oxy IV'ed for a first time opaite user is not too much, needs to get their heads checked. That is A LOT of oxycodone. ESPECIALLY when IV'ed.

the other weekend i was with a friend who had never done OC. we sat down and i set him up with a 10. he snorted it and was puking 20 minutes later...

damn people. 40mgs?? 8)

Just because one of your little friends got sick when he sniffed 10 mg of oxycodone doesnt mean it was too strong of a dose, vicodelicious. Some people are just intolerant of opiates from the very first dose.

A friend of mine with no tolerance took one 5 mg vicodin after dental work and threw up violently. He remained nauseous and vomited intermittently for two days after that. Does this mean that 5 mg of hydrocodone was a dangerous dose? Sure, for him. But for me and most other opiate accepting people with no tolerance, its a moderately weak dose. This friend always gets seriously nauseous when his body is introduced with any opiate/opioid.

You can't say 40 mg is too much just because your friend yakked from 10 mg.
 
defaultused, why take the chance? why risk your life in taking a dose all at once when you can start out low. the person could have a natural tolerance and need 40mg to get off...but nobody knows. 5mg wouldnt do jack shit to a lot of people also.

remember you can start out low, and work your way up, but u cant start out high and work you way down. once u took too much ur done. this isnt small potatoes we are fuckin around with
 
Again, we arent talking about oxy use alone, we are talking about its use in conjuction with cocaine, which minimizes the effect of opaites. A higher than normal dose of opiates may be necessary when injecting the combo. With no tolerance and no cocaine, 20mg would be a reasonable starting dose. With cocaine, especially a large amount, 30-40mg may be needed.
