oxy addiction and sex drive

I consider it as a benefit from opiate use, am I the only one?

Nope after a breakup of 3 years not wanting sex was great, it made me think of her less cuz my sex drive was gone... I guess it can be beneficial in some situations

After taking various opiates/opioids for years, I had my testosterone checked, as I too had no sex drive..and my blood level was 50 ng/dl, whereas the normal male levels are 300-1000. From what I've been told by my doctors, this is not unusual, and now have a replacement script along with all the others.

So yeah, opi's will ruin sex drive for sure, but it's treatable. Keep in mind that if he decides to go that route, and continues to take a lot of oxy, his sex drive will probably not return to 'normal,' but it's worth a try.

Are you saying your levels did not return after quitting opiates or are you still using them?

It's like that tv show the amazing race to bust on opiates. In general ur sensors are just down , and busting is near impossible. So ya their is a point where u prolly just see it as a huge chore lol. "babe fuck I'm tryna nod here"

Are you saying your levels did not return after quitting opiates or are you still using them?

My levels have returned to normal, but that is because I have a script for testosterone cream. I am still taking high doses of opiates, which are prescribed by the same doctor, for chronic pain. So, my testosterone levels are ok now...my sex drive is still about nil, however.
