Hi, I wonder if you can help me with some advice?

I'm widely perceived as an exceptionally bright person however I've always had severe problems with motivation and utter inability to focus.

I have ADD and it's somewhat debilitating. I've tried great many substances and have no problem self-medicating.

My ADD assessment is taking its sweet ass time (let's say around six more months), as I do not have a "family" physician or detailed medical history. I won't get into the details of my medical history and why I'm only getting an assessment now.

My job is very cognitively demanding and a little focus goes a long way.

I began experimenting with my own treatment involving arbitrary stimulants. Whatever I can get my hands on, really. My self-treatment also involves goal-setting, planning and healthy routine.

It has been working with great success.

I have been utilizing the following:
Ephedrine (legal in Canada; the stimulant enantiomer, not the weight-loss one)
Phenylpiracetam (carphedon, phenotropil; imported from Russia)
Dextroamphetamine (dexedrine; not time-release, purchased illegally)
Lisdexamphetamine (vyvanse; purchased illegally)

I use them in combination and alternate. Lately I have been using them everyday.

Questions:
1) I know phenylpiracetam is an anticholigenic, but I don't know too much about how I should counterbalance that?

2) Because ephedrine is cheap, I use it everyday. Can this be very terrible for me? I have heard of cardiovascular altercations, but only at high doses. Unsure about regular use.

3) I'm a man in his mid-twenties. I'm very agile, light on my feet and have remarkable endurance. This, plus the use of drugs over the years has made me a lot lighter than I used to be when I was younger and engaged in gymnastics regularly. Now that I have begun working out again, I feel my strength increasing but my muscle mass not following: I am not gaining weight. It seems to be the self-medicating, as I began working out again before I underwent this treatment and when I began it, the growth of my muscle mass abruptly began to stagnate.

PS- I do not consume ephedrine and drink. Before any of you folks warn me about that.

Thanks for reading my post, I do hope someone here has sound advice for me.

1. Lecithin/choline supplements and dose cycling
2. Ephedrine is a messy stimulant with a pronounced load on the body; using it for a long period of time is probably not the nicest thing to subject your cardiovascular system to. It will raise blood pressure and induce vasoconstriction.
3. That makes sense; ephedrine is known to promote weight loss. Both enantiomers. It's a consequence of it being a NDRI as well as its adrenergic effects (simulates the effects of adrenaline).

My advice is to play it very very carefully with the amphetamines. This includes ephedrine; once tolerance builds the effectiveness of your medication will spiral downhill. Escalating your doses to once a day is not a good sign - amphetamine addiction can sneak up on you and ruin your day especially when you're using stimulants to help with your work life. Increasing your dosage to and beyond "recreational" levels is a sure sign that it's time to stop.

How much of each are you taking? Have you tried eating a high-protein diet (or other modicfications?) as that will help both muscle growth and general affect.

Treat ephedrine with care, the same amount of care you would treat dexedrine, its just as addictive and probably more dangerous cardiovascular wise then dextroamphetamine.

Thanks for both the thorough response and the promptness at which you provided it, I'll look into choline supplements.

My supply of amphetamines is very limited so I take about 5mg of dexedrine at a time, probably 2-3 times a week: less than typical ADD treatment. I haven't hit anywhere near recreational doses with them.

Ephedrine on the other hand is another story. The tablets I have are 8mg each. I've been using it for about 4 months now. When I began, two per day, 16mg was sufficient. Today I have taken four = 32mg (16 in the morning and 16 in the late afternoon).

It's unfortunate, because the ephedrine is a good ADHD treatment and so damn inexpensive.

Regulating my diet is something I've never really done. I haven't looked into it because it is new territory. I suppose I better get reading, because I don't know shit about proteins/carbs/fats/etc.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed an elevated heart-rate when the effect peaks.
I can also feel my pulse at practically any vein.

I've been trying to rotate substances, but I honestly don't have too many to work with.

2 questions before i comment

1) which(if not all) of these stims also enhance your social involvement and skills?

2) do you notice increased percperiration at the doses your taking?

ok 3 Q's

3) when the effect wears off from the stims, do you notice it gradually, or more of a sudden stop?
