Overdose? Or heatstroke? Or both?

Not sure if this is the right section but I think I may have overdosed by mixing sedatives. I've been in the habit of doing this for the last week just to get to sleep or get a little buzz. I woke up sweating and shaking uncontrollably, like severe extreme shaking, I was able to get up and seek family members but once I had got up I was unable to walk and had to be assisted to bed, I was urged to goto the hospital but I really didn't want to sit in the emergency ward for 6 hours to be told there was nothing wrong lol.

Yesterday I was in the sun for a long time, dehydrated too, my water was in the car which was too far and I thought I will be okay, by the time I got home I felt a but flu like symtpoms and thought it was just dehydration, it slowly got a bit worse, another reason I took a whole heap of sedatives.

I took 75mg of promethazine
3 grams of praracetamol (too lazy to CWE, yes dumb, I know) only 180mg of codeine (the most I have done was 480mg)
Maybe 2 or more mg's of Clonazepam (I just kept munching them because nothing was happening)
a gram or more of phenibut (I have only done it one other time, with no effect that I could tell) I just took a teaspoon worth of poweder
Also not sure if this would matter but I took a heap of Gotu Kola because aparently it was good for heatstroke.

So thats my story, what do you guys think?

As this post was over 12 hours ago, hopefully you are okay now! <3

In the future, if you are at all concerned that you may have overdosed, please get medical help. Unfortunately we can't act as an emergency service - it can take a while for someone to get to your post, and we aren't able to diagnose medical conditions over the internet so all we can do is advise you to go to hospital..

I really hope you are okay now. It sounds like it was a combination of many different things.. in the future, be careful to stay hydrated when you are out in the sun, heatstroke can be nasty! Also, please please always CWE.. 3g of APAP is too much to have in one go!

Take care of yourself <3

Speaking as someone who nearly fried his liver on acetaminophen, I ask you to please always do a CWE. The half hour or so that you save isn't worth it.

I don't really have anything else to add, other than it sounds like you mixed a whole bunch of downers when your body was already stressed. I wouldn't make a habit of that, if I could avoid it.

Thanks for the replies, I'm not going to combine these drugs anymore, I asked to have the codeine taken off me as I just can't help my self, I'm so glad I can't get onto anything stronger because I love codeine and anything stronger has been so nice, I think I need to steer clear of opiates. I'm also going to tirate off the benzos because they are causing more problems than good. I never would have pictured my self in this situation.

Also I understand the acetaminophen (paracetamol) risks, I've done it way too many times being lazy and not CWE, which is stupid on my behalf, having not access to them will fix this problem completely though.

I am doing alright now, body is still a bit shaken up but recovering. thanks guys!

Really glad you are okay! :) thank you for popping back to let us know.

Also, very impressed by how self-aware you are regarding opiates - very sensible of you getting someone else to look after your codeine and to stay away from anything stronger. They can be a very slippery path for people who are fond of them, so good work on recognising this and taking steps to make sure you don't go down that path <3

Good luck with your benzo taper too! :)
