Outdoors '05 [Grow log]

LOOL happydaze, which plants are you referring to? The only one I see wilting is the cloned bagseed, all the others are getting way too MUCH water because of the fucking shitty weather. And just so you know, the wilting plant has JUST been watered on the pic, you can clearly see the soil is wet, so that's why it's drooping a bit..

Lol, those plants are still looking sexy, weather or not. Great colors

Wow that bagseed looks like a nice robust Sativa!

Good job dude, it'll be exciting to see when your White Widow leaves start frosting over =D

They already are starting to show trichomes, give me another 2 weeks and they're gonna be frosty as hell. ;)

The bagseed is really a nice surprise, didn't expect that she was gonna end up this great. She does look like she's got a lot of sativa genes mixed in there, but only looking at the leaves and the spaces between the internodes, she's budding like a fast flowering hybrid. You can never know for sure, but she looks a bit like a jack herer to me.

I'll update this soon with some pics. Weather has overall stayed pretty much the same, we had a few days of warm weather last week but other than that it's crap. The plants in the box obviously had some trouble with the warm weather (temps in the box were above 35 C ), one widow is really yellowing up and the cloned bagseed turned a lighter green, figured it might also be due to the lower EC soil I used.. So I upped the nutes, now giving them terra flores with some bloom up, haven't really seen any signs of improvement, but I've only given them nutes regularly since 6 days ago, soo I hope they'll bounce back in the coming days.

Outside everything has started flowering since last week or so, except for the white widow clones and a PPP, I hope they're gonna bud soon, it takes them awfully long. One purple is showing signs of pretty severe ph problems or something like that and my biggest orange bud has been attacked by insects! It's got a pretty big hole in the stem which started looking mushy and brown, I cut it away and it's looking better already, but I hope it'll fully recover before any moulds are going to settle inside the stem.. The hole hasn't slowed her down though, she's yellowing a bit but that's pretty normal.. I just hope that my purples aren't going to be the only ones this year that will fully mature.

Im waiting :D I

Me too. I'm waiting for my friend to arrive with his camera, but he's taking too long, it's already dark outside! So if my friend shows up with the cam, you'll only get some pics of the ones inside today.

LOL, while I was writing this my friend messaged me that he couldn't come today, so it's gonna be tomorrow. =D

I hope you'll be able to see the flower development of my biggest purp a bit clearly, she's really going for it now, looking awesome.

Thanks for posting that random smiling dude, I really needed that. ;)

Today's warm again (25 C), so I've just moved all the indoor plants outside for the next couple of days. Now that I've moved them I could take a much better look at them, guess what I've discovered..? One of the worst things that could happen, a growers nightmare.. My fucking orange bud turned hermie.

:(

The friend who gave me the seeds had them from his outdoor grow last year. I asked him how'd he got em. He said he didn't know cause he thought he had pulled all of the males early, so I already had my suspicions, thought it might be pollinated by nearby hemp fields or something, either that or he had a bunch of hermies (he isn't really an experienced grower and I don't think he could've spotted a herm).. Now I'm thinking he did had a bunch of hermies cause I had no problems keeping the dark cycle dark and the light cycle at the appropriate times, the only other two options could be due to the heat (which I doubt) or I'm just really unlucky.

I'm hoping my biggest plant; another orange bud, won't herm on me, I'll keep a very close eye on her from now on..

Finally took some pictures, some are a bit blurry cause the pics were taken when it was already dark outside, but you can still see the flower development pretty well.

The bagseed, she has grown quite a bit, since last week (maybe 2) she's been flowering, can't really tell on this pic, but you can see she's a lighter colour, so she's getting nutes from now on.

The WW clones which I've had outside. They're growing at a fast rate, but if they're not gonna flower soon, they'll be hash material.

Cola of the bagseed clone, humongous for only 5 weeks of flowering, already has lot's of brown hairs, she's really ripening up fast.

Here you can see the better WW from inside on the right of the pic, the piece of plant you see on the left is from the bagseed clone, she's tilting over because of the weight of the bud, needs to be reinforced with ropes and sticks etc.

The orange bud. So she's a hermaphrodite, but still an awesome plant nonetheless. Her buds are extremely dense, too bad I had to top her because of height restrictions, but those 3 top buds are still pretty big..
IMG_1324.jpg

Biggest purple power I have, 2 almost 3 weeks busy flowering. The pic is not really all that clear, but you can still see the purple buds.
IMG_1319.jpg

Last but not least, My biggest orange bud, 2 metre and 20 cm's and almost 1 and a half wide, she's been flowering since last week or so, she's going at an incredible rate, in only a couple of days she's been making those buds, just amazing.. And would you just look at that big-ass stem..

=D

The WW's will flower for 8-9 weeks btw, if they'll manage to survive that long. I'm thinking 1 of them is having a magnesium deficiency, leaves are pointed upwards and some tips are curling sideways, guess I'll have to buy btter soil again next time.

That purple is beautiful.

May I ask what kind of soil you use? Do you use the same soil for the whole grow?

Let's see.. Started the seedplants in 1/3 coco peat (which buffers the ph/ec a bit and is able to contain lot's of moisture while keeping the mix aerated) & 2/3 all-mix (pre-mixed soil with an EC of 2.8 and PH of about 6.0 or something), later on I've used just your average potting soil (EC of 1.8 and a ph of 6) with some added worm-castings (10l of wormshit on 60 litres of soil) for the plants inside and the outdoor spots. If you make sure they have enough of the regular potting soil, they'll do just fine.

I also give them some nutes, but not too much.. They're getting terra flores, bio bloom, pk13/14 and BN-xcell.
