who said anything about trusting
everything based on a single issue?
i actually agree with much of what you write but it's erroneous assumptions like this which make having a conversation online difficult these days
alasdair
It's much more than having a conversation, online or offline. The deliberate segregation of society through the weaponization of mainstream media and the destruction of the social marketplace has put people into black and white us vs. them camps. You have the believers and the non-believers. This is why you know it's a farce because your government wouldn't be trying to make us argue about things in the first place. Who in their right minds would get their country, moreover, the world, arguing about who has flu-like symptoms and whether it constitutes the shutdown of society? Unless of course it benefited you to have people battling with one another. But, hey, you look around the web and offline as well and you'll find people who clearly perceive their position as being on the other side of the fence to whoever they are conversing (or attempting to) with. The more this divide is cultivated, the more closed the opportunity for actually engaging and having a mature, meaningful and beneficial dialogue becomes. This is how religious wars start. This is how civil unrest is formented. You create the idea of seperate sides and then you get the blues to challenge the reds. Or the Christians against the Muslims. In reality, there is more to what's going on than blue or red or Christian or Muslim. But the scene has been set and people vehemently defend these identities like they are actually meaningful and conducive to a civilized society.
It's classic divide and conquer. These tactics have been used throughout history. I'm well aware of how difficult it may seem to have this conversation. And that's precisely my point! We would no doubt be talking about something else and the intention to pick sides wouldn't exist. So when people are talking about this, arguing, debating, whatever, just understand what's going on behind the scenes. Would we normally be like this with one another? No. Okay so, something must be off. What is off? And there's your answer, it's the entire involvement of the global population choosing to isolate themselves from one another and arguing/attacking each other over whose beliefs are right and wrong based on a narrative that does not aim to bring peace, cohesion, mutual benefit, understanding, connection. If it did, would this entire thing have happened like it did? Does this happen every year when the flu comes around? Obviously not. So why now? If you look deeper, you see the strings are being pulled and society is being pushed towards this outcome.
That's even more reason to stop reading mainstream news. All they tell you to do is mock people who challenge the narrative (like myself). They feed you the programming that ensures you deliver on helping to break apart the social cohesion in your community. They will dehumanize and demonize people who challenge the narrative. People who actually don't want to argue, don't want to unnecessarily judge others, don't want to be policed by their own neighbours for not mowing the lawn as seen appropriate by the rulebook. These people are the people who just want to go back to normality while the believers are appealing to the very agenda that is continuing to ensure the collapse of social cohesion and civilized society. These are the people who want science turned on it's head so that we go back to a world like that prior to the Enlightenment when religion determined peoples reality and our lives were controlled by the church, and well, we all know how that turned out. It was a very trippy place prior to the flowering of freedom from stigma, religious rherotic and persecution.
The formation of government like we see today came about essentially because we got fed up of all that stuff. We threw the religious leaders out of their assumed office and set about devising a way to create effective governance over our societies. And look where we are now, right back at the door of historys past whereby life is ruled over by magical thinking, pseudoscientific quackery, delusions, paranoia and hysteria. What we are experiencing is very much like religion, only it appeals to the scientific pursuit of understanding while at the very same time only using that identity as a means to fool people into believing what is going on is actually scientific.
The fact we are struggling to discuss this should prove there's a lot more going on than the shadows being cast on the wall (to refer to Plato's allegory of the cave). When you see that those shadows are not being cast by myself or even other people who challenge this narrative, and that there are unfortunately people out there who represent motives that do not benefit you (or me) you'll see the people pulling your strings and twisting your reality just require you to turn around and look at them and then look at freedom awaiting you should you get up and choose to accept it. And then you'll be free. It should be alarming to you that you really believe, or at least assume to some degree, strangers on the internet who challenge your views are really the bad guys making this entire thing happen. That's what you are made to believe. Furthermore, you CHOOSE to believe that. And so, of course then, we will be in disagreement and then of course, we will divide ourselves accordingly.
The question is; whose side are you really on? One represents your humanity, society, everything you've ever known. And the other? That's the unrelenting machine that has no remorse, no empathy, no connection to the 99% of the population who make up our worlds population, that will turn in opposite directions based on the agendas it is programmed to fulfill while expecting the masses to follow along like cattle. If people die, if society crumbles, the machine lives on. What about you? What about me? What about us? What about the reality hiding behind this facade? Are we all individual warring tribes set about conquering those who do not believe in the same God as us? Or are we capable of living together? You tell me.
I'm here for you, the next man, woman or child. In today's world, are those people really there for me?
If they are, shouldn't people be putting down their arms and turn towards those who are actually responsible for this?
This is the hostile climate everywhere and at some point people have to look at the fabric of this reality being created and understanding who is actually responsible for creating it.
Take it back a few years ago, we wouldn't even be having this conversation at all. It would be two people talking to one another without an overarching agenda, without being influenced by the maliciously cultivated environment that ensures they do not have mutual goals and understanding.
All the best for this year. May you fulfill everything you set out to achieve.
Use DuckDuckGo for searching in the future.
Search engines are not the greatest tool for finding things. DuckDuckGo has changed a lot over the last few years and privacy advocates and keen technology researchers alike have noticed how DDG has transformed more into a Google replica, which brings along with it the very issues that DDG's philosophy aims to avoid. The best solution is to go not for terms on a search engine but for the sources of the content you wish to obtain. If you find reliable, time spent, reviewed and established sources you won't need a search engine. You'll find these sources kind of work together and so they will provide content that refers you to other sources who you can then bookmark. Before long you've got a long list of sources that provide you with information that contrasts the mainstream narrative without so much as needing Google or another intermediary.
You want to ideally cut out the middle man. The middle man is where the biggest weakness in the chain is. The middle man in terms of search engines can interfere with the process of you achieving a particular goal. And a search engine is as good as it's capable to index and collate information together, and well, DDG because it doesn't use the privacy invasive aggressive tactics like Google does it's methodology for obtaining information from the vast web is limited.
