Remember seeing those anti-weed ads? The company portrayed weed as a drug that kills. Remember the little girl on her bicycle and the kid who got his dad's gun out? Now come back to the future, it is 2010. It is clear to me that most people's parents view weed as something natural that shouldn't be put down because it's pretty much harmless. Even though it's illegal, nobody really cares if you smoke pot or not, even the cops might let you go if they confiscate it.

I believe weed will be legalized someday and when that day comes, people will start opening their third eye and there will be a industrial boom from the ideas and creativity weed invokes. Imagine smoking weed at work where everybody smokes and talks and shares ideas and experiences. Criminals will be able to rediscover their true selves before they commit they crime they are about to commit. Fat people will be inspired to workout again. Relationships will be stronger and people with psychological problems will be cured. Cancer patients will find happiness even though they are close to dying.

Err, this part is really, really stupid. Psychedelic substances (which weed doesn't hold a candle to most of them) are absolutely stunning and mind blowing along with being crammed with thoughts, but what kind of company would smoke weed at work with everybody as a protocol?

If you smoke most days like me and how others do here, getting high and going to work (most types of work) isn't likely to alter the course of your day in a massively negative way. Letting people that don't normally smoke at work would obviously fuck them up so much lol, smoking with no tolerance at work is pretty ridiculous.

Marijuana should be legalized and have a legal market, but I don't think any opening of the third eye is meant or even capable of letting people bank. That would be the popularity of weed and it be treated as a commodity.

I'm sorry, but are you just really stoned, but even if you are, how the hell did it take you so long to realize that the nation's view on weed has changed. Really?

Yes, if weed were legalised all of humanity's problems would be over, and people of all nations would hold hands under a rainbow, and we wouldn't have nuclear arms, because you can't hug your children with nuclear arms...

Yeah, because no criminals have ever smoked weed...

I think the ad with the kid is a fake one from Harold and Kumar.

My views on it have changed from going along with the anti-drug crowd (but having interest in it, even if I didn't admit it) to smoking it...and of course thinking it should be legal.

However, not everyone's going to smoke it once it's legal. We'll probably see less people smoking it to be honest.

As Cenk Uygur said, America is fundamentally a Progressive country. I like that I'm living in the twenty-first century, and despite all the bad things going on, I can see more and more people waking up. Perhaps the future isn't completely fucked.

you must be stoned outta your gourd. criminals, fat people, people in relationships, and cancer patients already smoke weed and their problems have not been solved. i don't think weed is going to make a "criminal" rethink the "crime they are about to commit" lol! and fat people will only get fatter since weed increases your appetite. and making a cancer patient happy even though they're about to die? just....no. that's not how it works or why cancer patients smoke weed. it reduces pain and the severe nausea brought on from chemotherapy treatments. 8)

Even if herb is legalized or majorly decriminalized crime will still go on as there are some fucked up people out there and having them get high is not going to stop them from committing a crime or doing something majorly fucked up. The Manson "family" was constantly high on Datura, LSD, and herb for days/weeks and under the brainwashing and manipulation/control of Charles Manson when they did their infamous murders.

There's apparently lots of crime in Amsterdam and herb is majorly decriminalized there.

I already work at a job where people share ideas and experiences and talk and are open and nobody smokes at all. I've worked in other environments and jobs where the same thing happens and I know there were smokers there but they just kept it on the DL and didn't smoke at work or come into work fucked up.

Herb doesn't cure psychological problems. I know people who have major psychological problems and they did smoke herb at one point in their life and it did not help as much as therapy and meds do.
