Alrighty folks, this is "Other Drugs", the most god damn l335t forum on Bluelight, hell, I have no problem saying that we are the forum that keeps Bluelight going .. but of course, anarchy doesn't make for a well-run forum, so we have some rules.. most of it's common sense.. we used to have pages and pages of shit, explaining in-depth why you could or couldn't do something (ie a 2-page long piece of the posting of sources) .. sadly when the board software was updated from some ancient version to the new version 6, we lost all of that, so we are re-building from the ground up! So, this will be short and sweet... for you OD regular then none of this will come as a surprise - we have added very little ..
Ok, lets rock and roll!
[SECTION I - Basic Netiquette]
First, a few forum basics that really apply to ALL the forums on Bluelight, or really any forums on any message board on the internet - here we go!
1) NO CAPS! IF YOU TYPE YOUR ENTIRE POST IN CAPS, THAT IS CONSIDERED YELLING .. you can type in CAPS if, well, YOU'RE YELLING... say some lamer just doesn't get it, is being a total idiot, and if you were offline you would yell at him...
2) N0 l33t sp33k .. yeah, when you were on AOL in the room "l33t h4x0rs" it was cool to type like that - this is a message board where we try to conduct ourselves in an adult manor .. on the same note, No AlTeRnAtInG cApS .. or if, say, your name starts with the letter "A" - DO NOT CAPITOLIZE EVERY 'A' IN YOUR POST (yes, we had some lamer that did that...)
3) TRY to use proper punctuation, spelling, and grammer.. I am sure you can see from this document that I am lacking in all areas, well, try damnit! PLEASE try to use paragraph breaks, hell, even if you don't know WHERE to break, just throw some breaks in... it's horribly annoying to read a 1 page post thats one, huge block of text..
4) NO FLAMING .. if, say, someone calles you a dickless sack of shit that doesn't know his ass from his elbow, the best thing you can do is laugh it off .. I know, you want to respond with several hundred hatefull words, but this accomplishes NOTHING.. furthermore, we will edit out both the reply of the flamer and if you respond with a flame, well, thats edited too... if you persisit, you're account will be suspended... we log IP's so if you try to return we will simply ban that account too... I have no life, so it's no problem for me to spend all day hunting down duplicates! I have been a moderator for a long time, I can spot dupes by simply the typing style..
5) CHECK YOUR SOURCES .. Don't make a post with assertions of fact unless you can back it up with credible refrences... we are here to spread factual information, not to propagate myths..
6) Have respect for other forums members, a lot of people make Bluelight (and this forum) a good portion of their life, so please respect that!
7) SEARCH! SEARCH! SEARCH! .. before you ask a question, please use the search function to see if your question has been asked before - I can almost GARE-OHN-TEE that it has .. another good source is the FAQ forum! If you post a question that has been asked many times before, you will betold to search and your post will be closed! One of the best resources online is Erowid - you can go to this incredible site at http://www.erowid.org - if Bluelight turns up nothing, check there!
[SECTION II - mod/admin actions and what you can do]
Say your post gets closed, moved, edited, or deleted.. well, what do you do? It's really very easy - you SEND AN E-MAIL TO THE MODERATOR IN QUESTION, IF YOU'RE NOT SURE OF THE MODERATOR THAT TOOK THE ACTION, CONTACT ME AT [email protected] .. what should you NOT do?
1) Re-post the post that was moved, edited, closed, or deleted.. if you do that post will just be closed, edited, or deleted.. if a explaination is given it will be harsh, we will call you names. because if we close, edit, move, or delete your post we did so with good reason... now, if you wish to constes this action, in your email include the URL of the post as well as a polite explaination as to why we should revoke our action...
2) Post a rant to the forum about how we (moderators/admins) are unholy assholes that are out to get you for no reason then because we hate you ... if you want to bitch about a moderator, you may do so in the Announcements and Comments forum - NOTE your complaints will be ignored...
[SECTION III - Other Drugs Forums specific rules]
This section entails rules that apply only to the Other Drugs Forum, some may apply yo other forums as well..
1) NO SOURCES .. this is a BIGGIE! What does it mean? Simple, you MAY NOT post sources for 'research chemicals' (ie 2C-T-7, 2C-T-2, 5-MeO-DiPT, etc..) yes, these chemicals are technically legal, however, for specific reason we do NOT ALLOW THE DISCUSSION OF SUPPIERS! This includes asking questions about a source (ie "is _______ legit?") or blatently asking for sources (ie "anyone know where I can get 5-MeO-DMT?") .. if you name any sources, or ask questions, the post will be either edited or deleted... this also extends to ONLINE PHARMACIES.. we have seen to many legit pharmacies killed because they were posted all over the internet... I know this may seem unfair, but please, ifyou wish to debate it, email me at [email protected], we can discuss it all you want! THIS IS A POLICY WE TAKE VERY SERIOUSLY, IF YOU MAKE A SUPPLIER POST WE EDITE OR DELETE THE POST, IF YOU REPEAT AGAIN YOUR ACCOUNT MAY BE SUSPENDED!
2) NO DRUG PRICE THREADS .. In short, you can't post threads asking about the price of drugs - for example: "Does anyone know how much a gram of meth should sell for?" .. the reason we don't allow this is because there are SO many varriables involved, so someone from across the country can't tell you what a good pice for something is.. another reason is because this opens the door for the guys to whip out their dicks and throw them on the table.. if one person replies "I get a gram for $100" then you can bet you ass that another person will reply "dude, you're getting ripped off, my boy gives me a gram for $40" .. in the past, this have ALWAYS HAPPENED .. we will allow price threads from time to time - BUT - these threads are started by a moderator and the rules are clearly layed out..
NOTE The people over in 'North & South America Drug Discussion' have decided to allow price-threads for illicit drugs only .. this means NO PHARMACUTICALS .. but you can ask for prices on any 'street drug' ..
3) NO PILL ID's .. this is a big one .. simply put, if you have a pill and you don't know what it is, you are NOT ALLOWED to make a post asking for help in identifying it, for instance, say you have a white pill that says "DAN" on one side and "205" on the other.. well, you CAN NOT MAKE A POST TO THE FORUM ASKING FOR AN ID .. these threads are DELETED with no explaination .. but you DO have some options:
*) You can call poison control - if you look in the front of the phone book there will be a number for poison control, MOST poison control centers will freely give out this information.. you simply give them a description of the pill (codes and such) and they will tell you what it is, the dose, etc.. it should be noted that a lot of poison control centers are making the move to only providing pill-id's to law enforcement or medical personal only.. I won't expalain how to fake this..
*) You can call you local pharmacy, if you tell them you found a pill in your son/daughters room and fear they may be abusing drugs, most pharmacists will be more then happy to identify it..
*) Or, and this is the best way - go to http://www.rxlist.com .. they have a search engine that allows you to searhc by imprint code, and it's very accurate!
SPECIAL NOTE TO ALL FORUM MEMBERS - if someone posts a pill-id, it might not be possible for a moderator to close the post right away, PLEASE do not help the offender by giving information about the pill, this will only encourage future pill-id posts...
4) DEFINE ALL OF YOUR SLANG! .. yeah, some people may know what a 'binny' or 'jib' is, but many don't .. so please define your slang terms .. if you don't you run the chance of having your post edited or deleted because 75% of the forum has no idea what the fuck you're talking about!
[SECTION IV - What is and is NOT allowed]
Other Drugs is a forum for the discussion of, well, 'Other Drugs' .. the rest of bluelight is dedicated to the discussion of 'ecstasy', well, this forum is for your questions, comments, and other chit chat about, uh-huh, Other Drugs .. well, almost.. due to the over-flow of posts regarding Psychedelic Drugs, we have created a forum for Psychedelic Drugs and nothing else... to elaborate?
1) No posting ANYTHING about ecstasy or it's analogs .. MDA, MDEA, etc... there are about 3 other forums for that type thing...
2) No posting trip reports - we have another forum for these, it is called "Trip Reports" .. so post your experiences there..
3) No posting about psychedelic drugs, for example, LSD, 'shrooms, ketamine, MARIJUANA, etc.. if you want to find out whats acceptable for the psychedelics forum, well, hop on over there for a look-see!
4) This should be obvious, but NOTHING about parties, raves, or what you did last weekend!
5) Along with #4, please make sure there is substance to your post.. we don't care what drugs you took last weekend, now, if you took a plethora of drugs and something weird happened (ie you went blind for an hour) you can post that.. or if you have a question about something - you may post that .. but please spare us the mindless diatribe about the insane red rock opium party you had at your friend Seth's house - WE DON'T CARE! (we would also rip you a new asshole for even bringing up 'red rock opium' ..)
6) We do not allow threads dealing with OxyContin - in short, the fire is started, lets not add fuel.. we have an FAQ all about OxyContin: http://www.bluelight.ru/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic&f=32&t=000052 .. any OxyContin threads in which the answer is covered in the FAQ will be closed or deleted...
7) Kinda like pill-id's, we don't allow posts regarding the effects of some pill you found/stole... for instance, "I found this pill call "Tasmar" in my grandmas medicine cabinet, can I get fucked up in it?" .. simply, these are self-serving and could be seen as encouraging theft of drugs .. if you bought it then you should have an idea what it does.. these threads will be CLOSED!
8) No posts that are self-serving.. kinda like the above - if it's something that is of intrest to no one but you, don't post it.. better yet, re-word it so that it IS of intrest to others!
In short, We, the Other Drugs Management Team, reserve the right to edit posts, close/transfer threads at our discrestion. Please feel free to email a moderator with any questions you might have about a closed thread of yours. DO NOT REPOST THE THREAD.
[SECTION V - How not to fuck yourself!]
Recently there have been a number of "board organized" parties that were busted, so, we have a couple simples rules to help keep YOU safe! Yeah, we all know that the chances of an individule getting busted are slim to now, but CYA!
1) Don't incriminate yourself! You can talk about smack you HAD, or stuff like that, but it's best if you avoid saying "I have this awesome smack, I bought a half ounce" ..
2) This is probably the most serious rule on Bluelight, this applies to ALL FORUMS and there is no exception.. if you violate you will be banned with no warning, no second chance... IT IS FORBIDDEN TO SELL OR SEEK DRUGS ON THE BOARD, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE WILL ANY SUCH ACTIVITY BE PERMITTED! FURTHERMORE, IF POSSIBLE, YOUR IP ADDRESS WILL BE REPORTED TO YOUR INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER AND LAW ENFORCEMENT MAY BE INVOLED
Above all, USE YOUR FUCKING HEAD!
