when someone give information that is wrong or will hinder further conversation I like to correct it. and there is some evidence (sometimes said to be hoax) of grafting hops onto cannabis stocks to produce quasi legal hops with thc in it.
furthermore when I was in peru there was a local beer I tried that used a local strain of Japanese hops (Humulus japonicas)
this beer gave a distinct burnt out/stoning feeling complete with puffy red eyes and dry mouths the next day. I wish I remembered the name of it so I could import some, was a nice beer overall.
