I know this is a long shot but aren't white aliens and 007s going around socal? I'm way in Louisiana and we just got a batch of the same aliens and 007s and mixed in were some orange dophins that looked like this http://www.pillreports.com/index.php?page=display_pill&id=24421#comments
They tested pretty much the same as the aliens, hopefully these are the ones your guy has. I would still test them just to be safe though.
