I've had similar problems with weed resin. I used to collect a lot of weed resin and keep it in a dime. I had a full gram at the end, and after it was gone (it wasn't that great) I wanted to get the sticky mess off the sides, here's what I did.
1.) Get some isopropyl alcohol, nail polish remover.
2.) Pour it straight into the bag and agitate HEAVILY. From the outside, rub around where there is the most resin and make sure to make contact with the alcohol on the resin.
3.) When the bag looks pretty clean, the liquid should look pretty gross. Pour that all out into a flat, shallow dish. Size of the dish should depend on the quantity of liquid, but a flat dish works MUCH better.
4.) Two options here.
A.) Allow the dish to lay in a ventilated area for about a day. The alcohol will evaporate very slowly.
B.) Get a barbecue lighter (long stemmed lighter). Light the alcohol, and it should begin burning above the surface of the liquid. Let burn for about 20 seconds, blow it out. Repeat until the liquid is gone and the same resin will be in the dish. If any little plumes of smoke come out, or you smell burning resin (strongly), it is too hot, blow it out and repeat.
5.) This can be easily scraped (use stainless steel dish for good results) into a fine ball with a nail file or butter knife. Heat the dish with a lighter to loosen up the resin better.
6.) Smoke, relax, enjoy. Peace.

Ok, I did a little research for ya, since resin questions have plagued me in the past, my friend offered this 
WATER METHOD
------------
1.) Make sure the bag is completely sealed, air tight, and that the top is closed. If the bag is ripped, put it inside of another bag (this will slow the process), the smaller the better.
2.) Set water on a stove to boil. Keep it at a very low boil, not where the bubbles are popping like crazy and the water is quickly evaporating.
3.) Using tongs (barbecue tongs work good, as does a pair of long tweezers, anything works) hold the bag from the top and submerge it almost to the top of the bag in the water.
4.) Don't allow any water in, but hold this for about a minute. Take it out and the resin will have loosened, now is a good time to stick in a file or knife and scrape some out. The resin will cool to the knife and stick, eventually you can collect all of it without losing any, but it may take half an hour or less.
5.) Toothpics work good for scraping resin. They also work good for getting it all off the sides of the knife and onto a workable surface (a quarter works good for me) where you can mold it into a ball.
CAUTION: Do not allow the water to reach the resin! This will pretty much ruin the whole process. Also, if the water is too hot, the bag may melt, so it is best to act quick in heating and scraping, and repeat as necessary.
