Bluelight Crew
About 3 years ago I tried my first opiate (hydrocodone) and didn't like it at all. I kept at it, though, and eventually found how to obtain amazing experiences and useful effects from them
Dose:
2.33 tbsp (7 tsp) of dried poppy powder downed with orange juice along with;
* 30mg DXM for potentiation and reduction of tolerance,
* 0.75mg clonazepam for potentiation,
NB - No tolerance, and last poppies dose was about 2 weeks ago (except for 0.67 tbsp yesterday)
NB - For reference, I find ~ 2-3 tbsp of poppy powder equivalent to 20mg oxycodone
NB - I won't answer PMs asking for sources
Chronometer:
5:30pm : Food (breakfast lol)
6:30pm : Ate poppies and DXM/Kpin
6:45pm : Come up starts
9:00pm : Food (dinner)
9:30pm : Peak reached
1:30am : Peak ends ; Come down starts
T+1day : Afterglow ; amazing dreams
So, peak from T+3 to T+7
Effects (not nodding):
EMOTIONS
Normally I am very unemotional, almost like a Vulcan. However I get very emotional on opiates. About half the times I've taken a hefty dose alone I cry or almost cry. This feels more like a release than a negative effect. This is in direct contrast to how others describe opiates (emotionally numbing)
While I was single (and sometimes they still do) the opiates would make me feel lonely, at least indirectly since they cause me to day-dream excessively
SOCIABILITY
Normally I tend to be very quiet. Opiates completely reverse this aspect of myself as well. Not only do they make me enjoy idle conversation, they eliminate my social anxiety
MOOD
My thoughts get day-dreamy, relaxed, and my mood increases. Every little (and big) thing becomes more enjoyable
The mood lift, increased sociability, and anxiolysis makes low-medium doses in the morning before school or other social situations useful
COGNITION
While my short-term verbal memory is impaired, all other cognitive functions are unimpaired. IE, I can think straight (eg, do programming or homework or pay attention in school). IE, this drug does not 'mess me up'. Even my muscle coordination and driving ability are not impaired in the slightest (no somnolence)
SOMATO
My muscles feel as relaxed as my mind, my body feels warm, and both feel sort of 'fuzzy.' I feel light-headed and light-bodied
SLEEP
If I've been nodding, sleep comes easily. I wake up multiple times but still feel like the sleep was great. I have amazing dreams if I sleep in (and with poppies' crazy duration, I almost certainly will sleep in)
SIDE EFFECTS
Except for constipation >.<, there are no serious side effects. The difficulty focusing my eyes is a pleasant reminder that I am opiated. The dry mouth is negated by water, the itchiness feels good to scratch, and it takes a while to pee but peeing is fun anyway
Effects (nodding):
If you were born under a protective-parent-like rock and don't know, there is a different state of mind that you can reach with opiates called 'nodding out'. I've always found it tricky to reach. I've accidentally obtained it several times by trying to take a nap while on opiates. However, like others, I find sitting to be the best position to deliberately obtain a nod. I have to sit down, without my head/shoulders resting on anything, and zone out, not thinking about much of anything, and be in a good mood
All of a sudden, my mind and body change completely
In terms of my body, it essentially goes to sleep while the mind is still mostly awake. Pure pleasure washes through it in waves. If you imagine how aching pain feels, and take the opposite (like reversing depression to mania or inverting red to cyan), this 'anti-pain' fuzzy feeling is present through the whole body. This feels very rejuvenating
Mentally, I am drifting in and out of light dreamy sleep. My head falls to the left, right, back, forward, each fall startling me back awake so that I can continue to enjoy the nod. My thoughts are similar to how i think while on the verge of sleep -- they are meaningless and I lose my sense of time
With poppies, the best time for nodding seems to be between T+3h and T+8h, with it most intense around T+6h. With other opiates as well, nodding seems to be best at the tail-end of the effects
