Opioids Opioids for restless legs?

They have medications designed for RLS. Go to a doctor and talk to him/her about them and your RLS as we're not medical professionals here. It sounds as though you just want an excuse to use opiates your drug of choice or replace opiates with benzos or Ambien.

Good gosh...did you not read the dudes original post?? He has been on tons of different meds over a long period of time prescribed from the doc for RLS!

Tricomb, I am so pleasantly surprised about the Zofran. I have a regular script for it for nausea so I will for sure give it a try next time I have issues with RLS! Thanks so much for the info.

If you use opiates for RLS you will have to be on them forever, it's a temporary solution. If you quit, the RLS will be back with extra power, as you know.

Maybe loperamide?

IDK why someone is saying loperamide. It is an opioid, so its not an option. Plus, anything near a dose to help alleviate RLS on a regular basis will leave you with dangerously unhealthy constipation.

The best answer so far has been to try Ondansetron AKA Zofran and next a non selective beta blocker like Propranolol. And I hate to be pessimistic but they are not going to come close to relieving your RLS as well as opiates. Still worth giving it a try as they are both classes of medication you have not tried before and they are relatively harmless.

Also, IMO this is just like using benzos for anxiety. Of course they work better than anything else for the ailment but the rebound symptoms can seem 5x as bad.
