I started the methadone clinic 2 weeks ago and I am at the hospital for a surgery. I just found out that I can request 7.5mg of oxycodone every 4-6hrs. As I life long opiate addict I pretty much know the answer but is it even worth my time to take the oxy on top of 45mg of methadone?
I might add that I highly feel as if the antibiotic switches they have me going through are doing something to my methadone metabolism because I actually feel slightly sick. I really don't want a hassle at the methadone clinic(not sure it would cause one) and the pain is honestly not that bad.
I already turned down the 1st offer but I can ring them back at anytime and I would get my percicet. It's slightly playing with my mind because I'm not used to turning down opioids.
