(Disclaimer: some of the actions I'm about to describe to you are extremly stupid, reckless, and exceptionally irresponsible. Under NO circumstances should anyone repeat what I've done, especially those who are opioid naive).
The first opioid I tried was hydrocodone. I took 30mg, and felt like I was coming up for about 10 min, then suddenly it just completly dropped off to baseline again. This baffled me so next time I took 60mg, again the same thing happened. Then, one day, out of sheer frustration at my inability to achieve a high, I took 150mg. I know how horribly irresponsible this was, but once again; 10 min come up then an abrupt drop back to baseline.
I figured maybe my body wasn't digesting the tablets properly, so I acquired a 16 oz. bottle of hydrocodone cough syrup at 7.5mg per 15mL. I'm not proud of this, but I drank the entire bottle in one long DREADFUL chug. As I'm sure you guessed, same thing happened. (I'm surprised my liver survived though, I can't believe the bastard somehow pulled through). But APAP aside, that's 240 fucking mg of hydrocodone! I should've died twice over, but I barley even felt any CNS depression (not saying it wasn't there though). Hell, I went on a fucking 3 mile run about 2 hr after I drank it.
Since then, I've tried outrageous doses of other opioids (for an opioid naive person anyways).
•40 mg of methadone
•320mg of morphine
•10mg of hydromorphone
•500mg of codiene
Every time the same goddamn thing happens. The most I get is slight relaxation, an increase in appetite, and a very itchy face. What the hell gives?! Why is it that my opioid naive buddy can take 10mg of hydrocodone and be completly plastered, but I can achieve these outlandish doses without so much as a nod? Are some people born with a disfunctioning Mu opioid receptor, because it sure feels that way to me.
Any awnsers or theories are welcome, and once again, NEVER do what I've done. I'm sure the doses I've taken would more than kill the vast majority of opioid naive people.
