Opiod Antagonists/ Partial Agonists and the Endogenous Morphines.

So if you have been on a substantial dose of say buprenorphine, and you become seriously injured, will the endorphines thus be blocked or will the stream line of endorphs by pass the antagonist or partial agonist?

I would love to hear various theories.
 
I would assume that the endorphins would be blocked but now that I think about it I do not know what the activity of endogenous mu-opioids are. We'll try this in Other Drugs to start.
