Opioids opinions on oral syringe/cotton ball filter vs coffe gravity filter for CWE/apap remo

shoving half a cotton ball down to the bottom of a 20 ml syringe to plug it up then filtering through the Cold water from the extraction. is this as efficient as a coffefilter to make sure all appap is rwemoved? it leaves a big plug of white solid on top of the filter which is rinsed again
 
im just really paranoid that i just ingested 4000mg of apap. i've done this before with an amount of pills containing 3000mg (and another time with 1500mg) and plugged the exdtract and felt totally fine. This time was consumed orally.

The filtrate water is clear and doesn't taste too strongly or bitter, just a little. I should be good right?
