Opinion: Opiates vs. Amphetamines

First, allow me to state: I'm NOT trying to
start another weed vs. opiate war. I am
trying to figure out everyones' OPINION
on the better buzz. Please do NOT flame
anyone for their opinion, however misguided
it may be. Also, list at least one reason
why you feel this way.

My choice: Opiates
Reason: More versatile, less lasting harm,
less illegal (generally), better all around
buzz... I may add more later.

my opinion- coke and GHB.
that is the best buzz, hands down. of course that is my opinion. opiates can be great, they are just hell on my stomach.

wtf do you mean opiates/opioids are generally less illegal than amps (or weed)? You mean like codeine or something?
My answer: I *LOVE* stimulants, I was born to do 'em, accepted my calling long ago, but I chase them like a nickel-slut at the old Hacienda, so I hardly ever do them anymore.
Opiates are golden so far.
 
Yeah....I wouldn't say opiates are less illegal in general. Heroin is schedule I, meth is schedule II. But in practice, there's no opiate or amphetamine that IS legal to possess without a prescription, except for codeine.
Me, I definitely prefer opiates. They don't interfere with my sleep and they don't make me crave more the way stimulants do. I also find the comedown to be smoother. But why pick only one? The ultimate combo is opiates AND amphetamines

Of course I have to say that opiates take the cake - now anyway... had you asked me 2 years ago, I would have said meth ..
I believe opiates to be the most dynamic of all the drugs.. I will elablrate when I get off work in a few hours...

OPIATES win. Stimulants are evil. They fuck with my sleeping paterns for days and (I think) are more addictive.
 
I said this on another topic... Its like comparing apples and oranges. IMO they are way to different of a high to really say one is better then another. For me it really depends on my mood.
 
Stimulants are much better. They sharpen you're thinking patterns, increase you're reaction times, put strain on you're heart. You won't get any of this ffrom opioids.
 
I'm not sure why I'd want to put a strain on my heart??? Ouch.
Actually I become quite active on opiates, they energize me in a different way. I feel like I can think clearer and sharper and generally be more productive. I do get that with stimulates, but in my experience I'm thinking I like on top of everything but in reality I'm screwing up left and right.
 
I would have to say opiates, but contrary to what somebody said above this, they do mess with my sleep. I always have a steady supply of benzos sitting by my bed when using opiates. Down a few mg of Xanax and I sleep like a baby.
 
I was actually only joking. I have never tried any opioids ithere than a small amount of methadone with alcohol and speed which induced vomiting. I do know for sure that amphetamines are alot less addictive and therefore cause less dependance.

The reason why I like stims more is that they make me more social and it's easier to keep your high on the down-low... When I'm on opiates, I look fucked up when I want to squeeze the effects... kinda like when you're rolling... you can look normal, but to fully appreciate the effects, my eyes close a bit... when on stims I'm just more talkative..
I guess it depends on my setting... If alone, or just chilling, watching a movie or sumpin'.. then opiates...
ifi want to study, or hang out with peeps at a party... or my goal is to drink an ungodly amount of liquor.. then it's stims all the way
 
well id have to say from my limited experiance with opiates id take amphetamines. only reason is cuz any opiate i try i get hot, sweaty, vomit and all those other good things.

Opiates all the way. I find uppers to be too much of an artificial euphoria. Opiates seem much more natural to me. PLUS, I can't stand that nasty comedown from amphetamines!

OPIATES are much better...they make ya so HAPPy and CONTENT...
STIMULANTS make me too fucking JITTERY,eventhough i do get a solid BOOST of well-being while on them..that soon wears down and i become WIRED and IRRITABLE...i can't sleep for shit either...
