Like there isn't even a question about it how much worse alcohol is for you than opiates (and most every other drug out there). Unless, like, you don't know what you are doing or your tolerance and overdose yourself with pills. What about all the people who are seemingly unaware that they are destroying their livers though?
I find it sad how a lot of people who spend their weekends binge drinking, don't realize they are using 'hard drugs' or even a drug at all. It is more like a poison than a drug, I'd even say, as it doesn't really offer any sort of high to me. It made me feel stupid, aggressive, and gave me hangovers worse than the feeling of kicking opiates by the end of it. Fucking government brainwashing bullshit. There was so much pressure to drink I actually would feel awkward not doing so and there are a lot of social situations I have to completely avoid now because of the presence of excessive drinking. It is not just the drug, but the way people tend to act on it, and the unfair way how it is okay to do that and get fucked out of your mind and blackout but all other drugs are bad, mmkay. It is no wonder they chose that drug to make legal, as it helps keep people under their little magic spell.
Opiates have always been just chill to me. Even the withdrawal is just hardcore physical symptoms and mainly depression, in some ways I prefer it to the mania I get quitting cannabis as I never lash out at others. I just endure the nightmare of torture to make up for all the euphoria and then I am 100% back to normal very quick. It's something that most people are not aware of. If I was drunk all the time, I could never slip under the radar.
