Opiates: The Anti-Weed

since I started using opiates every day weed has become exclusively a potentiator - it increases sedation and really helps me to nod out. in terms of the second question, my "cravings" for weed have definitely gone away altogether. before I got really into hard drugs there would be days/evenings where I just had to smoke, even if I had other shit to do that was incompatible. I still smoke every day, but mostly only at night, like just once before I go to sleep.

i dont have any in between opiate days unfortunately lol...its either h, possibly oxy, or sub or methadone

most liekyl h or methadone

i smoke weed on opiates off them while im withdrawing all the time, in the shower during dinner suring sex lol

and I do find that i crave weed...especially if its a day when I am just going to be on like only methadone. after my 9-5 the only thing i wanna do is fucking light up a blunt.

ever since I started doing opiates on a regular basis I completely stopped smoking weed, and I used to be the biggest pothead in the world. now if I smoke any amount of weed at all, even the smallest little bit, I get super-stoned and extremely paranoid and it just is not enjoyable at all for me...its almost like a bad mushroom trip.... So i'm THC free

When I was heavy into opiates, I almost completely stopped caring about weed. I had no desire to smoke it by itself and even if I did smoke with opiates alot of the time I found it better just to be on opiates themselves. Now that I'm not using opiates heavily I smoke alot more and my cravings for weed came back.

These two things also happened to me. Loved weed until I used opiates, then hated it...made me anxious, paranoid, and simply way too high in general. Stopped using opiates, now I like it again..although it has definitely lost some of its magic since I started :(

"too high" <---- yeah, i never used to think such a thing existed. I was always trying to get that stoned. Now I hate it; that feeling that you are "too stoned" "i took too much"-type feelings

^^ Hahaha, I should have seen these responses coming. Well, given that opiates and weed mutually increase each other when combined, this question can't pertain to people with a constant opiate intake.

1) Did it change the type of high you've received from weed before (how, and for the better or worse)?
Its much stronger now. And I fall asleep easier.

2) And for those who had strong cravings to use weed everyday, did these cravings go away / minimize after opiate use?
To an extent.

I really like combining weed with opiates so using opiates more doesn't make me want to smoke less at all.

I might end up spending more on the opes and less on the nugs tho.

MOST People that start doing opiates notice that their weed intake starts to shrink, but this is most probably from not having the extra cash / time to get the weed they once did before becoming dependent on opiates. Once addicted to opiates most people will use all the cash they have for the opiate... but IME, opiates + weed is an amazing combo...

yea getting hooked on opiates caused me to lose all interest in weed, 1 because i had no money for it and 2 I just didn't enjoy it that much anymore. Now that I am on suboxone treatment though I have started smoking like once or twice a week and I find I enjoy weed much more now that its a once a week thing instead of an every day thing
