I used to get pretty comfy on 3 norcos 10mg that I get scripted monthly. Unfortunately after using suboxone 3 weeks from 12 mg down to 4 mg in those 3 weeks I quit the program. The pain I have from herniated disks and surgeries on my femur is too much to bare. I like to keep out of with drawl and pain in addition to once in a while getting high but I can't seem to get my norcos to work anymore. Its been a week off suboxone and I have tried up to 8 pills feeling a slight nod for maybe ten minutes then its over. I tried to cwe them, drank a lot of grapefruit juice and use dxm today. None which have worked. I have been on opiates for 3 years never had this issue but now I can't get the least bit high. Anyone have advice? I'm hoping to achieve this somehow without going out and getting something stronger. Anyone have advice? Thanks in advance folks.

Sadly, there's no way to avoid it...tolerance always creeps up on you in the end. I suppose if you withdrew and got clean from the pills for a while you'd probably get a little of the old feeling back, but well it'll never feel the same. If you really need them for pain I suggest you speak to your doctor and see if there are any options other than switching to stronger painkillers. Hope it'll get better!

I think there may still be bupe blocking your opiate receptors.

If you're seriously determined to use th opiates, wait a few days longer and the "tolerance" will disappear.

This means taking no opiates for a few days.
