Opiates in Bangkok/Thai

Im going to thailand/bangkok for 3 months i wanted to ask if there is anyway to get some opiate painpills while there? i know you can get tramadol otc but thats pretty weak shit, and fucking with h there is suicide, im gonna go to cambo to smoke some opium for sure but only gonna be there about a week, what kind of painpills do they give out for scripts in thailand? how much is a doc visit? or could i go see a doc cheaper in cambo and then bring the drugs back to thai without it being illegal? ive never been to thai so im totally new to it? i want to avoid risk of goin to the thai monkey house, theres gotta be some kind of loophole, i heard they no longer sell codeine otc in thai now, would be nice to atleast be able to get some codeine while there even tho i dont fancy it too much... any input would be bad ass

Dude, to even contemplate that shit while being in thailand is like playing russian roulette with your freedom.

Do not risk it

Just get as much of the weak tramadol as you can find (since it's OTC) to do the job and wait til you get back home... or find a doc that speaks good English and explain your situation.

im not trying to do anything illegal over there i well aware of how hardcore thai is on drugs thats why i was asking about a legal way

people keep wanting to warn me, but im not trying to do it an illegal way, i was asking for a legal way through a doctor, i was prescribed 4x30mg oxy's, 10 norcos a day for pain in the states, was i really in pain thats irrelevant, i want to get a legal prescription there, im not trying to fuck around and lose my freedom or my life dont worry

Thailand is not half as lax as it used to be on prescription/controlled drugs.

Thailand is not even classed as a third-world country (I was told this not 100% though)

Don't trust any Locals when it comes to drugs/narcotics over there. There's a good fucking chance it wont end up like you planned.

.... Speaking from experience too..... I has some dodgy as fuck situations over there thanks to me wanting drugs over there.

The worst thing is the Police over there are so fucking bent it's astounding.

^^ Im sure you will have no troubles in doing what you are asking about! Most things are easy to get from doctors or chemists over there.. but like 8ft Sativa said, things seem to have become a little tighter but im sure if you see a doctor things would be ok for you..

One time I walked into about 20 different Pharmacy's in Bangkok asking for Valium and got turned down every time.

It's not like people think.

I mean street drugs are everywhere especially speed ... BUT your gambling with your freedom.

Choice is yours Aroberson .... My other advice would be to open every single drink you buy there yourself.

I once got my drink spiked and robbed ... not fun.

I have had alot of bad shit happen to me over there ... stuff you wouldn't believe... i'm not just talking shit.

There was easy access to valium and xanax in Thailand a few months ago, although this was Phuket, not Bangkok. Not sure about prescription opiates, though. I'll echo, the cops are corrupt as all hell, and I wouldn't risk anything illegal.

I spent quite a bit of time in Thailand over 2 years ago.

I got a really bad ear ache there and went to some pharmacists in bangkok. You can't get codeine without a perscription.

Some chemists will bend the rules when it comes to perscription drugs like valium and perscription amphetamines. More likely in the islands than in bangkok.

Everyone here has told you about the dangers of messing with drugs in thailand. they are on the money. be especially careful in khao san rd. bangkok, lots of dealers who will happily point the police to you after you buy. watch out in koh phagnan (full moon parties) alot of police pretend to be dealers, then you will have to pay $1500 to get out of the situation.

DON'T MESS WITH DRUGS IN THAILAND. THE POLICE ARE ON TO IT, AND THAILAND HAS SOME OF THE TIGHTER DRUG LAWS FOR THE REGION.

Cambodia is alot more lax (still be very careful though). alot more people will ask you to buy drugs. honestly in some places you can't work more than 5 meters from your room before you get hassled to buy weed, heroin or ice. opium should be good and cheap there (I only did it Lao and Vietnam).

If you buy off a motorcycle taxi guy. make sure he doesn't drop you off at your hotel (the police might come knocking). don't stick around after a deal, get out of there.

this advice isn't safe. and if i had my time over again I wouldn't buy drugs in SE Asia. if you get caught your FUCKED!

Koh Samui was the best for pharmacy items. As long as you ask nicely and dress respectably they will be more willing to help you out. Valium and xannax are easy to get. So are diet pils which are just amphets. Oxycontin was harder to get but if you try some off the track pharmacies you'll fair better. Just say you have a headache and want strong pain medicines. Give them a symptom first then ask, also try and build up a repore with a certain chemist by going in often.

I suggest you store your pharmaceuticals in your Malaria tablet bottle, i did this and felt allot safer. I even found pils in thailand but i wouldn't recomend that at all. Avoid beach dealers, they're cops.

The boat cruise guys can get you weed, if you do a trip with them. They can also get you anything else you might need. It's about 15AU for 6 hour tours with these guys if you have a big group. I suggest doing that and you will make a valuable connection. these guys are also cops but they make half their living off selling to westerners. On Koh Phi Phi they even made us a bamboo bong and supplied us with opium.
