Did you go to the hospital and they told you that you OD'd? Did you stop breathing? IMO it seems you could have fallen asleep? Just wondering b/c you have to be really really high to OD, I don't see how you can't have any "high" if you OD'd... Anyways I agree with most of the posts here.. Try powder heroin and snort some of that... (start off with a small amount to gauge your tolerance and the potency of your product and then go from there) 30mg of Morphine for someone with a natural high tolerance is probably not enough to get you high, but always be careful b/c when you get over confident and think your tolerance is high it can get you into bad situations (like it "maybe" did when you smoked too much H?)
Tramadol is not technically an opiate but it is an opioid, it is a synthetic alkaloid of the phenanthrine codeine, so it does bind to Mu opiate receptors in the brain, thus activating the same receptors that Heroin, Morphine, Oxy and other opiates do. So because this opioid works that means that there is no weird problem with your opiate receptors (endogenous endorphins).... Maybe Tramadol works better for you (maybe, I could be 100% wrong or off about this but its a guess) because it also makes the brain release serotonin and it is an SNRI (Selective Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitor) which is what some antidepressants do... SNRIs anyhow are anti depressants... also maybe the release of serotonin gets you off too... Maybe you are enjoying the anti depressant effects from the tramadol (plus a small opiate buzz) and that is what is getting you "high".... maybe when you take real opiates you are not really knowing what you are looking for, thus you don't feel high...
I remember when i first did H, i didn't get really high b/c i thought i did enough ( I was high off of the adrenaline from doing the drug and mistaked that for the high, I was nervous) but I didn't ( I was scared I would OD my first time so I was super careful) so b/c of that experience, I was like, H sucks and I wasn't impressed, until, one day I did the right amount...

Also IV'ing H is probably the best high in the world, though i don't recommend doing so unless you use a micron filter AND most importantly have HIGH SELF CONTROL, b/c H is by far the best drug ever and you can get addicted very easily... I remember an acquaintance telling me to never use H b/c it was too amazing and you can never really give it up esp if you IV it... and i was like OK... then i did it anyway and to this day i wish i didn't b/c now that i have felt that... I can never go back... just something to think about... I'm sure you ALREADY know that, and are a good responsible person

BTW, I've never smoked tar so i'm not sure how potent is usually is or how it affects you compared to powder H so if you have any questions about why you OD'd and didn't get high, I really cant explain that... honestly if you didn't stop breathing or etc... than maybe you didn't OD? IDK...
