Opiates causing acne?

I've noticed that if i take a opiate regularly for a few days my face seems
to breakout a little. Nothing severe. Its just normally my face is clear and I'll take some opiates for a few days and notice a difference. As soon as I stop the opiates my face is 100% clear within a day or two. I'm not a teenager so acne or breakouts is not really a normal thing.

What's chemically changing my body to do this. My hygiene and diet are not an issue. If anything I focus more on it while using to minimize these side effects.

Almost deters me from using. Which is good and bad.

Anyone Else???

I notice when I use heavily, any drug, I break out. This is due to not paying attention to hygene as much as I usually do. This is just me. As an opaite addict I notice I get a nasty sweet tooth when I get fucked up, that could cause this aswell. Sorry I don't have a definitive answer for you, hopefully these suggestions help.

Perhaps the histamine release has something to do with it. I don't know if it would be that alone, or if scratching/rubbing your face while on opiates would be the real cause. Either directly from the histamine, or what you do because of its release, my bet is that's what's causing it to break out.

Yes, it happens. I have broken out because of it. Luckily I have really good skin because I might get one or two... Even growing up I never broke out. Getting into opiates has caused me to break out.
