I have noticed that at time when I take opiates I experience quite pronounced chest tension. It feels as if my chest is in a vice that is slowly getting turned. Is this normal for opiates?

I've never felt that on any opiate. Were you really fucked up or just kind of high? Were you on anything else?
No man. Only codeine. I took 360mg. Thereafter I took 5 5mg diazepam and it relieved the chest tension. I've used a variety of opiates over the years but never had this chest tension occur.

If I were you I would take codeine any it could be unrelated but chest tightness is usually a more serious side effect that I would contact a physician about
