Opiates and alcohol, what first?

I don't see how this has errupted into such a big thing .. alcohol and opioids - ok, if you enjoy both of them then take them both, if youdislike one or the other then cut that out of your game plan...

I know damn! (PhreeX is right) Some of you guys act like if you take a vic and have a beer your going to drop over dead. Just do it in some moderation and be comfortable or familiar with the effects of both substances you are working with.
Ain't nothing better after a night of drinking then to come home with some friends, spin some records, and suck down bag after bag of dope till the next evening.

If you've got enough of the opiate in question to get a decent high, then skip the alcohol is my advice... I find alcohol "dirties" just about anything you combine it with, but if you have say not-quite-enough-codeine then it can make that feel a bit stronger. IMO totally unnecessary with hydro or oxy though.
