Opiate withdrawals

Hi guys and girls,
I’m new here so I hope this is the correct place to post. Anyway I’ve been taking opiates everyday for the last 6 months. Mainly IV morphine about 60mg daily, also methadone as well. So I decided it was time to stop, I took 80mg of methadone about 3 and a half days ago. I have had zero withdrawals yet…am I still waiting for them to come or have I just somehow skipped withdrawals.

That is surprising that you dont feel any sickness yet but its not unheard of i know some people personally that take a few percs a day for extended periods and quit like nothing when the supply dries up so its possible. I would try not to think about it too much 60mg really isnt much even though it was a daily thing i take about 40mg of oxy a day but im pretty sure those are weaker than IV morphine, either way when i do go days without i do feel sick not enough to call it dope sick but ill definitely have trouble sleeping or eating for about a week and it starts about 24hrs after my last perc.

Well just take it easy and try to relax

Get some pedialyte to stay hydrated in case you get dope sick

I have taken clonazepam and clonidine so maybe that is what has helped

Methadone has a long half-life.
