Opioids Opiate withdrawals, sick, or liver failure?

I'm not a newbie when it comes to opiates but I now just started. I naturally have a pretty high tolerance.. 40-50mg to start with. Well it's been about 5 days and I'm at 75-80mg and I'm not in to good of shape. I've been cweing all the pills, so I don't think it's the tylenol.. I don't think I'm having liver failure.. The water that's left over tastes very bitter and theres a lot of gunk in the filter after filtering. But here's my symptoms.

-Headache
-Sleepy all day and night but can't sleep
-Weakness
-Cotton mouth
-My head is hot, feels like a fever
-Little nausea but nothing major, barely noticeable


Someone please help me. I don't want this to become more serious when it's just simple withdrawals or just becoming sick.
 
are you still taking 75-80mg or were those your last doses 5 days ago?

if you're in withdrawal those symptoms are normal. If you are at a higher dose than regular, well that could be the cause as well, depends on the opiate (you didn't mention which one)

it's just simple withdrawals, don't worry yourself too much it's going to suck, try to stay hydrated if you have cotton mouth, that's likely causing the headaches and the fever like feeling. Withdrawals are sometimes indistinguishable from a flu and a fever, it sucks but i'm guessing you're using either hydro or oxycodone, in which case the symptoms will be going away any time now. Hang in there.

Hydrocodone, and the past 5 days leading up to today, so it's just starting.
 
Sounds like you're just withdrawing to me. Take a break for a week. Your WD should be relatively mild, and should last about 3 or 4 days. Get it over with now. The longer you're using and the higher your doses get, the worse the WD will be (obviously). If you resume using after a break, try not to use more than 2 days in a row, and take at least 2 days off in between. Trust me this is not a road you want to go down.
 
Last time I had a binge it went on for a full week but my highest dose was 57mg.. Last night I dossed 75mg and I didn't even feel shit and that was going from 65 to 75.. I'm going to take a break. Thanks for your guys help! I'm a little less worried now that I know it's not my liver failing!

ah okay, well then that's for sure withdrawal, it'll peak at about 48-60 hours and level off after that. Your doses aren't too high so it won't be unbearable. Get yourself some immodium and take like 12-16mg and you'll feel much better. It's definitely not liver failure and you won't die, so you can at least have some peace of mind there. With immodium you'll be able to function relatively normally if you have to work or deal with people. If you don't have those things to do, then i'd just cold turkey it, unless you just ran out early or something.
 
Hey laron,
just chilled to say that your decision to stop now, is the best you can do for your health and your life, your life's quality....the most you use, the most difficult will be to jump off.
And if you don't stop now, while you're in the beginning, you'll go down to a road that won't be good and easy, as Dagda Mochta, very wise, mentioned above..
Stop the shit now laron, otherwise you'll regret it very hard in the future, believe me...just my 2 cents, bro...:)
