Hi all,
I am in what I believe to be my first withdrawal experience from opiates. I've played with them for years, but at a maximum of two days in a row. This last week, I used BTH Monday through Wednesday then switched to an OP 80 per day on Thursday and Saturday (Friday was an off day). Sunday evening, I began to have severe temperature fluctuations/sweating and had some insomnia.
I'm at T+84 hours from last dose now, and seem to have plateaued. I am just blown away that I could have a withdrawal from what seems like such little use. Is this normal?
Here are the symptoms I've had / am having:
Aching muscles / sharp shooting pains in bones
Total lack of appetite
Insomnia
Large swings in body temperature (feel freezing and an hour later I'm sweating like crazy)
Few bowel movements
Dizziness
Headache (pretty bad, worse when I move)
Fatigue (minor)
Tiring easily (out of breath going up a couple flights of stairs)
I guess my most important question is - assuming I am actually withdrawaling and don't just have cancer or something - when can I expect this crap to be over?
I thought 72 hours would be plenty but I'm into day four now and still need ibuprofen+clonazepam to keep me functioning normally at work.
