Hi my name is Jimmy,
I've been taking Hydrocodone 10 MG, oxymoron 30mg, and pergs 10mg, off and on for about a year. I started this after about a 2 year alcoholic problem vodka mainly. They just seemed to make me feel so good. I was also on serta line 10mg and klonazepam for about a year before turning to opiates. I'm now trying to quit. If anybody had any good ideas on how to freak with the restless leg part in all ears! My mom was killed by a driver on meth. This is what led to all my problems. I'm having a hard time dealing with the rls tight now! I had no problem quitting drinking 11 months ago. It is very hard quitting the opiates though. They just make me feel so happy. At this point they are taking all my money and it just takes so many of them to make me feel as good as I did when I started! Ihave got a lot of info of this site and have some great idea's to try! I am accepting any ideas on the RLS and any other info you can give me! I'm very excited about joining this site and can't wait for any feedback!
Thanks,
Jimmy

So sorry to hear about your mom. Losing a parent or other loved one is hard, but that kind of senseless death is really hard to process. I have lost two partners, the most recent was 6 years ago, which was when I got sober. The most recent was my best friend from high school who died last year of cancer. My last partner died of an OxyContin/Lunesta OD unexpectedly. He was used to meth or coke and just had no tolerance for opiates. I wish I could say it's easy to quit, but it isn't. But if you keep on "not using" eventually it does get easier. It's worth it, so don't give up!

Thank you! Ya my mom was killed about three years ago! It has been hard! I'm sorry to hear about your loss to! I'm trying to hang in there but it is very hard knowing that I can get more if I wanted! Trying to stay strong and positive about it! Thanks

First, delete ALL of your dealers numbers and you must refrain from hanging out with the same friends you used to get high with. You may talk to your doctor about being put on suboxone as that helped me greatly in quitting opiates the first time around (I relapsed). If you decide to quit cold turkey, lock yourself up in a house (could be a friends, relatives, parents, exc.) and go through living hell for 4-5 days and have a partner with you as well to make sure you do not leave the house or use while going through detox as that will start the process all over. Quitting opiates is one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life, and may be to you as well. Im sure other blue lighters will give you other tips I have left out as I am in a hurry to get to work. I wish You the best.
