opiate tolerance

There is absolutely no way to get off on a lower amount than you have originally taken??
This kid I know gets off on 20 mg of Oxycontin and one bag of H... there is no way he can get off on say like 15 mg or half a bag of H in his life and feel the same as he did when he used to take the 20 and full bag ?

Only time, and maybe something called "proglumide" may help tolerance. But the only real solution to tolerance is to take more drugs (or stop for a while).....

Injection lowers your needed dose!
DXM seems to enhance the effects of opiates (this has also lead to overdoses). You should be able to find information about this in the archives.

ketamine and promethazine are both opiate potentiators, meaning if you use them, it takes less to get high. other than that, it takes about 5 weeks for yer tolernace to reset itself.

i would think KETAMINE would ruin an OPIATE high..i thought KETAMINE was a nasty high, and OPIATES provide a really nicer high..ya combine the two, and it fucks it up..
yep, to lower tolerance one must simply take more, which usually doesnt result in a much better high, or lay off the drugs for at least 2 weeks..id recommend staying off for 2 months if possible..

I've tried promethazine in conjunction with opiates on a few occassions. I really don't think it makes that much of a different. It's noticeable, but mild.
Maybe if it only takes 20mgs of oxycodone to get blasted, it might make a difference. But if you've had a daily dope habit for several months, it's pretty worthless. You're not going to want to shoot any less dope, that's for sure.

That really depends on what your tolerance is at to begin with and how long you've been using.
I have no idea how long it takes for a heroin tolerance to reset, but after using it daily for several months, it takes months to even get significantly lower.
After two months of opiate abstinence, I've required the same amount of heroin to get high. The only part of the tolerance that seemed to reset was my tolerance to the itching. And I itched like it was my first time using heroin.

But be really careful when you shoot up after you've taken a break. Don't start when you left off--that's a real easy way to die...
