Sinomenine or Cocculine is an alkaloid found in the root of the climbing plant Sinomenium acutum Sinomenine is a morphinan derivative, related to opioids such as levorphanol
is it active??

In the future, you should at least look up the wikipedia article on it. If it has any opoidergic effects, they're very weak.

As already stated it's the wrong isomer, the molecule may be morphinian but from this does not derive opioid activity at any receptors.

Sorry mate.

It works for withdrawals; it is what Levo-Dromoran is made from (used in cardiothoracic surgery patients when they don't want to over sedate them).

An excellent add to a withdrawal cocktail (with Bacopa, Silymarin, Ashwaghanda, etc).

(I've got a full case of it here shipped from China; speaking from experience)

Levo-Dromoran is a different chemical though.. AFAIK. It has full agonist opioid activity.

I don't know the legal status of what you are talking about, but if it is not legal where you are I suggest editing the last part of your post...
