Opiate itch

What makes opiates make you itch? Why does itching it feel so damn good?? I mean, what is it doing to your body that makes it itch like that? thanks

i suppose opiates agonize histamines.
and doesn't everything feel good on opiates?

yes, opiates release histamines, therefore you itch. some people like it, some hate it. if you want to get rid of it, just take an antihistamine half an hour before you take your opiate. but since you like it, well enjoy it. cause if you use opiates really regularly, the itching will diminish alot.

Dunno, i took the maximum recommended dose of benadryl while on an oxy binge and it did abs. nothing for the itch... it does sorta seem to extend the high though...
