Fucking hard to see the film. I stopped. Its really horrible how drugs can make you act like an asshole. Well there are assholes who dont take drugs, but thats another point. I couldnt leave there with that cold. It has to be hard. Well thanks for this documentry @Zopiclone bandit but its not for me. It didnt triggered any form of using or craving, can be the opposite. I dont know why but I see this guy in a box of pine at the end, like we say in spanish. Namaste

Damn .. couldn't find this anywhere but on youtube .. but vice did an awesome documentary on the canada fentanyl wave. That's when I was into fentanyl .. and my use was NUTS in comparison (but I had money and a safe place to life .. which makes ALL the difference).

Sadly with PBS defunding, they no longer host the full 50 minute BBC Horizon programme 'The Case of the Frozen Addicts' but the thing is, not once but twice bandly manufactured MPPP ended up very badly for some end users. It's unclear if those affected were more susceptable or if the batch-sizes were tiny. The researchers actually discovered the original name on the patent was still alive and in good health whereas they discovered that MPTP was actually produced as a research compound so they went to interview that chemist, only to discover that he too had been struck down with Parkinsonian symptoms.
With the proliferation of novel RCs of dubious quality, it isn't a case of IF, only of WHEN.
I've already stated that a full third of ALL the GC-MS/NMR sets of synthetic CB1/CB2 ligands contained dimers, trimers and polymers and that their high MW means they will not vapourise ahead of a flame-front but be pyrolized into some very nasty things. I would be watching to see if in a decade or two, we see a spike in cancer cases among (former) users.
Madness when the producers don't care and the distributors lack the skill-set to read instrumental data and assume that while they operate on a for-profit basis, somehow the producers act out of altrusim.
Don't forget, in animal models, MPTP was NOT toxic so people assuming that since animal models were OK, it's fine for humans. Even then, potency is ALL. Nobody cares if a product is good and safe, only that it's highly profitable.
