Open air drug market

So I am near a city that has an "open air drug market." The kind of place where if u go there ppl are trying to sell you weed. So how dangerous is it buying meth at a place like this? Have any of you ever been busted at a deal like this (I would prefer to have an actual dealer but alas)? I presume the chances of the guy trying to sell shit to me being a cop is pretty low.
Secondly how much should I be paying?
Finally is it okay to taste the product. I would test it but we ate outside so even tasting makes me kinda nervous.
 
Can you tell us what city, it's not each city doesn't have it's own "open air drug market". Here in Massachusetts, there is a run down city (ghetto) called Lawrence, and this where I have copped dope from on a couple occasions. I got ripped off once (dope was fake, but realistic looking), and succesful 2 times. I dunno if you're going to be able cop meth easily on the street, but like I said it depends on the city.
 
Meth really isn't a drug for the ghetto. You got your crack, you got your pot, you got your heroin. Thats about it. I suggest going to a few clubs, or "raves", as meth is much more popular there. Either that or find a nice trailer park and look for some white trash methheads there.
 
Heroin would be nice but last tie\me I tried to find some it was damn tough
 
If you've gotten meth there before already, you probably shouldn't worry too much. Sure you could get ripped off, but I think you already knew that....
 
I wouldn't even look for meth, because as Deus said, you got yer coke/crack, weed, and heroin - meth is not common... but if you look out of place (and I am willing to bet you would stick out) then someone might pass you a bag of come then run off..
If you want meth, go to a rave club - trust me, it's fairly common.. just ask all the people that are dancing if they can get any, and someone should have some.. the open air markets are NOT THE PLACE, because meth is such a long lasting drug, and while it is strongly phychologically addictive, you don't have meth addicts copping on the street like you do your smack addicts and coke heads..

You have a much higher chance of getting ripped than arrested. That should be your concern.

Yes of course I have a much greater chance of getting ripped off but I never spend more money than I am willing to lose. I would really prefer not to have to appear in court...even if california will only put me on probation/send me to a rehab facility (wouldn't that be ironic they would put a non-addict in rehab and I would probably leave with like a fuckton of hookups).
Anyway results of my venture in another thread.
 
You gotta be carefull.. in some of the moe organized markets they have spotters that look for police then alert the dealers if the polce are approaching - but still, undercovers will come in from time to time, grab everyone they can and see who is going to jail.. if you drive down be carefull, because sometimes police will steak out the area and look for people that drive in and get shit, they then radio to police further along that pull the car over ..
I don't know what advice you're looking for.. you take a chance.. it's safe to assume that the DEALER is NOT a cop, but ya never know - if you get a bad feeling about something, then call it off and move along.. it's not the best way to cop stuff, but sometimes it's the easiest...
 
First, you don't get to taste the product - mostly because it'sa street deal and where are you going to be able to find a place to test the product? That just increases the chances of getting seen and thusly getting busted.
Though you are in SF and they might just tell you to stop using drugs and take them from you. Cops don't seem to worry too much about pot - but same with tiny quantities of harder drugs.
Secondly, in my years in SF, I've been offered meth on the street many times. Never bought it so I don't know the quality. Shit, it's SF, every other person seems to do meth. I only got offered meth in the Tenderloin.
I also got offered pot alot as well. Never heroin, crack or coke. Though at 16th & mission I understand it's quite easy to cop black tar.
Pot and hallucinogens are mostly found in the Haight (duh! go figure!) and in and around the pan handle. Never heard of harder drugs being sold there, but never paid attention. It tends to run $20 ofr .75 gram, though they tell you it's gram. Damn street hippies.
Ya know, it would be nice to have a "Guide to Street Buys in Cities Around America" or something where it laid out the common open air drug market areas, drugs available, cost, the etiquette of buying. I'm assuming each city has it's different ways of doing things. It would help travelers! Also, kind of interesting, at least to me.

you live in CALI and you can't find meth???? what a sad, sad, sad world we live in. :(
he he. anyways....ummm....i've never heard of an "open air drug market" but i sure as HELL would NEVER buy shit there. like i said in my other post, i have friends and friends of friends that sell shit, so i guess i'm lucky. they're the ones who do more work to get the shit. and i never get ripped off--i mean, i know where they live!! :)

and to get VERY BITTER at all the nasty ravers roaming ghoulishly around because they have nothing better to do.
but you can buy meth there.
 
I have never done it but my advice is to not take your car. The cops can seize a car on much less evidence than it takes to convict you of a drug offense. So, your car could be gone forever, while you are never convicted of a crime.
 
Oh, we are talking about Cali? Yeah, you could probably find meth there, hell, you can get a gram of glass for half of what the rest of the country pays for crank .. I wouldn't picture meth being sold on the street like that, but if it happends anywhere then it would be in Cali..
 
i live by philly and apparently we have the largest open air heroin market... you shouldn't have a prob getting meth in cali.. esp SF..
