Opioids Opana ER 40mg & Suboxone

New to the forum and I apologize if these have been answered already. I got some Opana ER 40mg pills and was wondering if the coating HAS to be taking off to gain the full effect when snorting? I've snorted them before without taking the coating off and had no problems. I stopped for a while then I recently started again and when I snort them I don't really feel anything? I didn't know if something has changed or if it's just tolerance? Just want to know if coating on a Opana is like OC's. Also, sometimes when I do Opanas I'll get extremely high then a week later I'll do one and feel nothing? Whats that about?

Also, I took a 8mg Suboxone around 9-10PM last night and I was wondering if I snort an Opana at 9 or 10PM tonight, will I even feel anything or is pointless?

Are you taking Suboxone regularly?
If so, I would say that this is a tolerance issue; 8mgs of Bupe is a LOT. 2mgs held me well on a ~400mg/day Oxycodone habit. You should really try tapering down to save your tolerance, ease withdrawls, and save your money!

So, that's my guess.. your Buperenorphine intake is contributing to the lack of euphoria found when snorting Oxymorphone now. Tolerance, it's a bitch, ain't it?

As for your other question, wait as long as possible to use the Opana after Suboxone to get full effects.. 24 hours usually was enough for me though.


Ah, just saw the coating question.. the coating doesn't have anything to do with breaking the time release in either of those drugs.. OxyContin or Opana. But why wouldn't you take it off if you were crushing it up? Seems like you'd have lumps of pill coating all through your powder.
 
I've been on subs for about 7 months now. My max was 3 a day. I'm getting weened off of them now I'm down to two a day, but ive had recent anxiety problems so I took more than I was suppose to, now I've been taking a half a day.

Last night at 9PM was when I took one.

EDIT: Whenever I was on 3 a day or whatever I never actually took the recommend dosage. I usually would take 1 maybe 2 and sell the other one :(. So when I was on 2 a day I might of took a half in the am and half in the pm.
 
I will rail them with the coating shaved off with a knife or razor, or if in any rush with the coating still on. The coating on the pill may make them a little tougher to absorb, but im not sure.
