Ok

So stupid but does anyone else smoke like this?

The high from the volcano lasts 2-3 hours for me depending on the quality of the material. Needless to say, for the period of the last year I have only used the vape, in differentiating amounts, to basically stay medicated throughout the day morning until night.

It's been like this for a long time. Sometimes I'll wake up and smoke and then go back to sleep at night. It's just part of me.

I've never had that much of a problem before I started just using the volcano. I like it because it seems like less of a "druggy" experience than smoking, a more gradual onset, and a cleaner high.

Through basically using this all the time though. I feel like I've lost myself in a new way. Not just like I'd been smoking too much for too long and needed a break. But like it was really hard to feel good or anything except when the vape kicks in, then it will wave a few times and back down.

I almost feel like smoking had a better impact on my endocannabinoid system than the volcano has. Maybe it's just because it's THC. Who knows.

I never read the cannabis forum much but does anyone else click with this?

pretty cool/interesting really. i've never vaporized beyond a few weeks on a shitty digi-vape. needless to say, i don't have much to say about your issues with the volcano. i really wish i did.

but about the bold section, i do know what it's like not feeling right without having that background high present. you're pessimistic, bored often, etc. i smoke in the middle of the night a LOT to go back to sleep. i think it's mostly just habitual, a compulsion.

i do wonder what the differences are biochemically (hope that's right) between smoking and vaporizing, besides of course the difference in impact on respiration.

well if youve been hitting a volcano 24/7 for a year you're going to have gotten used to pretty much everything while incredibly stoned. that would make being stoned pretty boring?

im assuming the only joy you get is immediately after you actually hit the vape, knowing that you will shortly be stoned. probably something like me a couple of years ago where id smoke a cone every 5-10 minutes because i honestly just really enjoy smoking and using a bong, and that satisfaction overrode the fact i was actually already super dooper stoned and smoking more would be as useful as pouring a glass of water in the ocean. (during that particular period i never really felt like i was really that high either except for immediately after i smoked)

Do something when you're high..
How about a date ? cinema, sports bungee jumping. Do something just dont go back to sleep,
what's the point of getting high if you cant enjoy it ?

well, I'm not one of those people that smoke that much to get "high", just for medical purposes in multiple ways, and to calm my nerves.

I only vape mine out at 5.5-.6.5 so I am pretty sure no carcinogens and only the THC is being vaporized off the weed. Seeing as I make brownies with each accumulated batch of leftovers and let my friends eat them and they get pretty damn baked. Apparently benzene vaporizes at 7 as I read somewhere so I'm avoiding that and mainly taking in THC.

One theory is maybe because THC is one of the more psychedelic cannabinoids that maybe I'm just seriously fin with me head. I usually put in .3 for a small pack during the day and then at night I'll put in like .8 - 1g and it always lays me out.

It's just weird because I have never had this level of tolerance before to ONLY THC and not smoking. When I was a youngin, I would smoke about a quarter a day of heady bud and only vaped a occasionally. I do now because it's wayyy more efficient, saves me a ridiculous amount of money, and saves my health. ... Or so I think but hey.

The buds nowadays are better and better all over the world with new technology and so on. They have very high levels of THC already. If combustion takes 20% of the active ingredient off the bud at most and the volcano takes (umm I think it was) 90%, you are seriously loading the brain with THC. Especially if one does entire bags to themselves. You get really really really really really high if you choose to. I used to love to get that high so that's basically my level.

i've raised blazed and gone straight back to bed too many times.

^ and damn dude, take a break.

it depends the temperature at which you are vaporizing the cannabis, and remember to vape only good weed, no regs because it wont do too much and the taste is horrible...try a haze sprinkled with hash, with the hash like a sandwich between the weed, and vape it, then come back and tell if it is something to complain about

I'm not complaining about quality what I'm vaping lol.

But seriously though, If THC is mainly taken off the bud from vaping it the combination of cannabinoid's that I would be ingesting would be stacked towards that and away from CBD, CBN, which most know to balance the high in a way. One of those is supposed to have anti-psychotic effects while THC is psychedelic, creating the traditional high.

Getting only THC vapor you absolutely notice the difference in high. Adding smoking to the vape high actually lowers the trippy effect and brings in a more couchy-less thinking buzz. And when the effects of the other cannabinoids wear off from when you smoked, the vape high is still there, leaving you in a strange place. It seems some withdrawl starts from the other cannabinoids while the vaporized THC is still active. It feels much better still though if you are a regular smoker, once you get used to the high, and keeping it on the same setting consistently seems to regulate your system much better.

I also kinda noticed, that my lungs really have not gotten better, perhaps worse even, from switching to vaping bags. About 9 months ago it started and now i just have a completely different consistency of shit to cough out all the time. It almost felt like I was turning into a fish at some point. My gills opened up. It might be somewhat safer in some way, but that shit still fucks your lungs up.

In the addiction standpoint too, it's much less of a hedonistic drug and more of a medicine. You don't really feel high instantly, it takes about 20 minutes to fully peak. The first sensations are really just coming up anxiety/excitement. Leaving it to be less of a hit by hit thing and makes you put less thought into the action over time, leading it to be less ritualistic and honestly lets you just enjoy life more. All that stoner stuff is fun yea, but after a while you just want to be able to go and not worry about that. Plus it lasts like 3 hours instead of max one hour.

Regardless tho, tolerance is a bitch. And once you blast your top open with the volcano, there is no going back.

Quite the opposite. I used to smoke bongs (mixed with tobacco) and I was doing the sorts of things you mention, since moving to the volcano (no tobacco, christ be praised!) I find I smoke much more "normally", plus a 1/4 oz that would normally last 2 days now lasts seven (if it's the goods) :D

man i use to smoke dope like a savage and it has only persisted with my vape but its cleaner and better
