Stimulants Only did half my shot, is it unsafe to do the rest after laying out for 12 hours?

Slammed 1/2 my shot of meth before work, obviously my blood is still in the barrel holding the rest of the dope. Would it bw safe to shoot the rest of it when i get home or is my blood bad now?

I would advice against shooting it after it sat out for 12 hours. Blood carries pathogens, which have had the opportunity to grow in the syringe. Also, the risk of clots would make me nervous. While it may not be as enjoyable and even a bit gross, consider drinking or plugging the liquid if you want to avoid wasting the meth.

This is a bad idea from all standpoints. I will explain.

You should only use your rig once. Using more than once, even if you are the only person to use it, can put you at risk for bacterial infection and other blood born infections.

As SmarTPants stated, the blood in your syringe is going to coagulate/clot/oxidize (inside of the barrel) so to speak. When you get home trying to push some of the solution out of the syringe, you will notice that it is exceedingly difficult and takes more force to actually get the solution to excrete from the rig.

Imagine shooting that into your veins? It is a bad idea.

I wouldn't even recommend eating or plugging the solution due to risk of blood born infection.

I would just take it as a loss. It would probably be in your best interest to keep extra rigs and micron filters around to do test shots to accurately gauge how potent your supply is that way you can accurately dose a proper amount to IV without wasting your goods.

Please don't shoot that solution. It may seem like a waste, but what is one less shot of dope compared to your life and overall well-being?

EDIT: Also, in general, don't reuse rigs. If you are having trouble IV'ing/finding veins that means one thing... You need to lay off the dope. I'm not saying this to be a prick, but if you are going to IV you should be responsible about it. IV'ing is my ROA of choice and I don't make the greatest decisions sometimes, but I can lookout for others.

I would suggest purchasing a 90 pack of your rig of choice.

I am a novice i.v user, so I am sorry for askinga dumb ass question, but just didn't want to take a risk without asking. Rigs are limited in my state because they are prescription only here so I get a few here and there from my dealer. Will just push that shit out in a drain then, thanks for educating me on this matter.

I doubt you could if you tried unless your just registerd like a 1 unit flash of blood. My blood starts clotting in the syringe even after like 5 minutes... If you only plan on doing half a shot, only mix up half lol. Its not good practice to try and inject half your shot and save half for later.

Not being able to find veins can be attributed to someones skill level of injecting as well, how they tie off, etc.. Also, if you do not use a new needle for EVERY puncture of the skin, it will make your life harder. A needle should pierce the vein, not have to tear it because its dull as fuck. A dull needle will often push veins that have tendency to roll to the side as well instead of piercing them.

Go to a needle exchange.. here in NJ you can literally wlak out with a 100 box if you ask for that many.. personally i live only 2 miles so I usually get 50 at a time.

If you have coagulated blood in the barrel then it's a no-go. You shouldn't be re-using syringes to begin with, you can order boxes of 100 for less than $20. Google is your friend.

I get the worry about new bacteria growing but as for crazy blood born pathogens, its his own blood and he didnt share a rig. So the worst I imagine him getting is some crazy antibiotic resistant strain of common bacteria such as MRSA or something. Although anything IS possible, and it could have some crazy shit on there, HIV/HEP C if thats what the OP is concerned about should not be an issue, considering it is his blood; he is not introducing a different persons blood/infections.

New bacteria? sure. but nothing like hiv/hep

Yes def prob got new bacteria on it. Yes prob a colony of them. Yes it could kill you. Yes, its a VERY BAD IDEA to do that shot.

Plus the bigger issue here is not exactly the new needle. The BIG ISSUE is whats IN the needle and what he would use to get high. If he had a new needle I"m sure he'd try and transfer the solutions, which is just as terrible an idea.

But I KNOW youre going to use it to get high (because the fact that you're even asking this question tells me that):

I wouldn't say its a good idea to plug it by any stretch of the imagination, but if youre gonna do it thats def the way to go.

And as for that bullshit excuse of why not to use a new rig every time, its just that: a bullshit excuse. Get a fresh rig every time man. Its not hard, and its not expensive. Shit, go to a pharmacy. Even if your state has laws against giving out needles to people without diabetes, etc, if you ask enough pharmacies you will find a pharmacist sympathetic and who will sell you one eventually. Just takes effort, something us drug users hate having to give.
