So right b4 the party I get the bright idea of taking 3 hits of this amazing acid and by the time I get to the party I was buggin out. Buggin out so hard that I couldn't see and it freaked me out a lil but I chilled out for a little and got my head together. I went downstairs and danced my ass off for a couple hours.
Then I chilled in the girls bathroom for a good hour and a half with Jamal and Scary. That was prolly the most fun I had all night. I don't care what anyone says but that bathroom ruled...HAHAHA. Right Jamal and Scary???
Rabbit in the Moon was FUCKING AMAZING tripping. There's nothing better in the world that I could imagine seeing while like that. I also ate a pill (yes I ate a pill) and that helped add to the experience.
Now that I look back on my post I kinda went nuts with drugs the other night but it really helped block out all the shady shit that was around me. From what people tell me it was kind of a fucked up night but all in all I can honestly say I had a good time.
Downers: KRS-One was a total vipe killer. I must have heard them say this is real hip hop over a thousand times...yet I failed to hear any hip hop. Also I was bein hounded by some shady kids I know from the city cause they know I'm usually runnin and it kinda sketched me out...maybe it was just me trippin.
It was good seein all my usual BL friends...you know who you are cause I don't feel like naming all of you off. Hope not everyone had a bad time. Keep ya heads up kid and lets not let our scene die cause there seems to be too much bullshit goin on with it all right now.

Not gonna post much, but I will post this:
I had some fun at this party. Wandered around A LOT. Very dissappointed the top floor wasn't open. Not blaming SOE though. It was nice to meet Dana. RITM seemed to be more for the fucked up kids. Kinda too weird for me.
As far as the KRS One set went. I would have liked it more if it wasn't at a rave. I mean all of those hip hop acts right in front of me, I was in awe. KRS One, Jeru, MOP, Gangstarr, Afu Ra, Freddie Foxx. Plus I got to meet Red Alert even if for a brief second. Rocksteady Crew impressed me as well.
Set of the night was Misstress Barbara for me. I really wish she was on at the end though. I would have put her at like 2-3 or 3-4 cuz she is that damn good. I would have put KRS One and crew like right after Rocksteady.
Good seeing the Blers once again whether I knew you from b4 or just met ya. Thanks Jen for the cold hands. Connell, the girl's bathroom was cool. Damn sexist architects. Why can't the men's bathroom be the same way.

overall, i had an amazing time at this party... the main reason i went was for rabbit in the moon. i saw them last year in maine and they completely blew me away, to say the least. i was sober at this party, and they're not nearly amazing when you're sober as when you're tripping, to say the very least. they were still good though. besides, now i understand what i really saw last year...
afterwards, i met bunny of RITM. he's cuter up close than he is on stage... and he's sweet too. got pictures and an autograph. my god, i think i'm in love!
i was really pissed off that they used the downstairs area instead of the huge ballroom for the jungle room. the upstairs room was so much nicer and bigger... and sounded better. i did see datcyde and parts of other random sets though. what i heard was hot, but the vibe was better in the huge ballroom than it was in the fuckin' basement.
spacegirl, mistress barbara, and skylab 2000 were pretty hot. krs-1 was good, but i don't think they belonged in the 'main' room surrounded by trance. seemed terribly out of place.

Now that it's a good 3 days after the party I feel it's time to post my thoughts.
The party was great, although their were some negative parts of the night, the positives clearly outweight them.
For all those that are all caught up on how bad and long KRS's performance was, ya'll need to keep your panties on cause it's not that often that you get to see a historic rapper perform at one of theses events. Yes he was on too long, but he had to fill an extra spot, Yes he may of taken up some of Misstress Barbara's set, but blame that on SOE for putting her in such a shitty timeslot.
Anyways, I'd like to thank
Speekah, Icey, KayDub, Maui, and Gloworm for withstanding my hot ass room and chillin with all my peeps. It was fun and will definetly do it again. Anyone else that I forgot, you know I remember ya'll I just happen to lose my memory when I'm going through a heat stroke.

I'm somewhat surprised to find that I was immensely impressed with Christopher Lawrence's set.
Knowledge did a bangin' set in the little room upstairs..and ummmm..... I guess that's it.
Question:

i keep all of my pictures on my computer... i only put up ones of the parties, none of people, because i know some people dont like their pictures on the iiiinternet

have to say i had alot of fun at this party despite some complaints.
1. RITM was definitely very very good. But i have to say that they are more catered to all the people that are tripping out there. Since I wasn't i have to say i was getting really antsy during their set.
2. KRS-1 and company. OMG i wanted these fools to get off the fuckin stage. They would NOT shut the FUCK up. Definitely out of place. It totally killed the mood and everybody seemed to leave when they got on.
3. To all you people smokin dippies out there. SOME EM SOMEWHERE ELSE. I swear i still smelled dippies when i woke up in the morning. I think all the 2nd hand smoke from those made me dream some crazy shit that nite.
Otherwise...had a BLAST at this party hanging with mah party kidz (you know who you are =P) and seeing alot of familiar faces from starscape and stuff and meeting some new bluelighters too. Misstress Barbara was definitely off da hook again. I mean who else can spin like that while in a skirt AND high heels. lol.
Well I dunno when I'll be seeing you bluelighters at another NYC party cuz I'll be moving soon. But hopefully they'll be one more party that we can all meetup at.

so yeah this was kinda my 5th year anniversary or something since i started going to parties. It was an f'ing good time. RITM absolutely insane. Deffinitely need to see them again b4 i leave 4 italy. Does anyone know if they'll be in new england in the next 2 months? Randomest moment of the night was wehn i got bumped from behind and instead of ignoring it like i usually do, i turned around and who was there but bunny from RITM starting to break right in the middle of the dance floor. i was like wtf?
random....anyways yeah thank you infinitely teddy for giving me and icey a ride back that was definitely key.
