I kind of used up my good ones I've been holding on to for years. I guess I need to go back and review my meters.
I have a whole collection of tres guitar books but one of them, I wrote the guy who published it years ago, and he emailed me back, totally intuitive approach and allows for playing electric guitar solos so I'm making that my study guide. I was in open b flat but the book is in c so I guess I'll tune up once I get the bridge and nut filed and slotted just so. And get some real light strings. I never got playing with a pick so I'll just soldier on with fingers and finger nails. Using partial chords to imply other chords I'll have to return to as well.
After my son's were born I used to solo That's the Way of the World like I was in a dream. It only recently dawned on me that the entire thing is a prayer, they're praying together.
Will also get Serenade down cold as well. Gotta seben!
Have cut out the existential creative zaps as well, I have a couple of really cool kids guitars that were like 70 bucks each. One I have as a five string with high e omitted, because, well, six strings are one too many, and I really really don't like high e anymore. The other I have my old nut and bridge so maybe I can use those, I haven't checked. If not I can order some and get some strings.
Also have a nice arch trellis in the backyard and I finally figured out how to get the crossbeams cut out so the biggers can walk under the arch. That goes in the front yard. Hopefully I'll get that done next week.
