On my way to hospital-Peritonitis

I've been using coffee enemas over the years to ease my pain. Yesterday I felt bad, today I am spiking a fever. It seems I have an infection. A bad one.

I am on my way to the hospital. Wish me luck. I hope I pull through this.

I am hoping you get through this safely. A severe/bad infection is not fun.

They didn't keep me, but put me on anitbiotics to start.

If by Monday I'm not better they want me to come back for a Cat scan and/or other tests. I hope it isn't another barium enema. I really hate those.

I still feel crappy. I am still spiking a fever on and off throughout the day. After I take my antibiotics, it goes down again. It seems like its located somewhere about my transverse to decending colon because it is tender on my left side, I don't think the coffee enemas had anything to do with it, but at this point, not sure. I've had so much wrong with my guts, it is a wonder I am still here anyway. This may have just been latent, and with my immune system down, it got hold.

Thanks for the sentiments. It is hard when you are alone and things go wrong.

endo and colonoscopie for me every 2 years... damn-heh


i just figure, i cant sit around wishing my life was perfect, because no-one elses is - life becomes extra real in these situations and that can be a damn good thing.


your not taking any sort of fever reducer are you?
a bath with the temp just over your bodies temp is good, but reducing your fever is suppressing your immune-system...

giving kids acetaminophen etc. is only prolonging any cause.
