on methadone, wana bang some hydromorph contin curious as to dose needed

have been on methadone for 9 months and its working great. This is the first time in 9 months that i've considered trying to see if i can feel a little glow. My methadone does is 120mg a day. Now i havent taken a dose for 36 hours and i have a handfull of hydromorph contins 3mg and 6mg capsules and i want to shoot some but i'm curious as to what kind of dose i'm going to need to do to feel anything. I'm aware that this is a hard question to answer, but i figure maybe someone on here might have some relevent experience or knowledge to share that will help me out. Any advice that would help me out would be greatly appreciated. thanks
 
It is hard to say. I am on MMT as well, but only at 75mg a day currently. I have not taken any 'done for 72 hours before in an attempt to get a good high going, and I shot 24 mg of diluadid and i didn't feel a thing. I ended up shooting five bags of decent dope and getting a half decent rush fading into no high whatsoever. Trying to get high when your on MMT is basically a lost cause and just leaves me pissed off so I don't even bother trying anymore.

I realize the dosage numbers I stated are fairly high, and could most definitely lead to some negative consequences in certain individuals if they thought they should follow my experiences. I am merely stating how I needed to use a pretty ridiculous dosage and still have poor results, on MMT. In the name of harm reduction, it is my opinion that is not even worth trying to get high while on MMT, although believe me I understand how that desire creeps up on you occasionally.

^I understand your desire to share your experience but those doses could prove rather unpleasant or even possibly dangerous for someone else in a similar situation.

According to this narcotic converter 120mg of methadone daily is equivalent to approximately 11.25mg of intravenous hydrmorphone conservatively factoring for a 50% reduction due to incomplete cross-tolerance.

Narcotic conversion is not an exact science, especially with methadone, so you should be cautious.

Believe me, I realize that. I just wanted to point out the fact that I needed to take a fairly ridiculous dose and still not even get high. Hence my reason for saying it's a lost cause trying to get high on MMT. I will edit my post though.
 
^you didn't need to edit but either way, its appreciated. Ever hear the quote, "a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing"?

I know there are addicts who come on here looking for justification/rationalization for activities they want to do and on some level understand the risks of, so although unable to altogether eliminate this from happening, I hope that we can minimize it when possible.
 
Yeah bro, I am with you on that. I have been a member here for quite some time now, and this website has helped me learn so much about safety regarding drugs. In result, I have helped to spread the knowledge of harm reduction throughout my circle of friends ,and thus hopefully maybe saving some lives in the process. Getting off topic I know, but also just wanna extend my gratitude to you and the other mods in the great job you guys do.
 
thanks. I pretty much know in the back of my head that trying to get high on mmt is pretty much pointless but if i find out for myself i'll probably never try again. Maybe i just want to feel the prick off the point one more time.
 
Do not bang Hydromorph Contins, they contain too much shit in them like microcrystalline cellulose. I just grind the 30mg ones in a mortar and pestle until they turn to a brownish color and snort it. Unless you got a micron filter forget it and even then...
 
ive heard the term plugging, what is plugging, ? and can u plug hydromorph contins, to get a bigger high.... or is it pointless because of wats in it
 
for the sake of harm reduction having been so good at staying clean for 9 months (bravo), can't you just get rid of the hydro's, take something thats not an opiate instead, coz when you get that glow from the hydro, statistically, you're on the road to relapse imo/ime

also you would have to wait over 48 hours for the methadone to be out of your system
