New here guys......hello!

After thoughts on a subject that has puzzled me for many years!
Back round 1991/1992 there was a very common trip known as Pink Ladies/Computer Graphics. I have never seen a trip like it since and am curious as to why it had its very specific attributes.

The trip was-

Large
On thick glossy Cardboard (approx 2mm)
Tasted terrible when chewed
Extremely potent
Always extremely dirty- acne, stomach cramps and very intense
Very visual
Long lasting
and extremely common back in the day

It was my first psychadelic unless you count weed, had them a few times and never really enjoyed them and much preferred the regular tasteless blotters that i had after these.
Does anyone feel they could surmise why this particular trip had such unusal attributes?

Definitely wasn't LSD, some other psychedelic being passed off as acid, probably a DOx chem.

Definitely sounds like a member of the DO* family of psychedelic amphetamines.

Most likely DOB going that many years back http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/dob/dob.shtml

These chemicals are potent enough to fit onto thick blotter (average dose of 2mg where as LSD is 100ug) and have a very unpleasent metallic like chemical taste. The duration is also much longer than that of LSD and the trip is subjectively different.

DO*'s can still be found in circulation today. We see DOI and DOC blotters in Australia from time to time.

"if it's bitter, it's a spitter" :)

Computer Graphics were indeed DOB, a mate of mine... well his aunty, got done with a sheet and the police report stated it wasn't LSD but a 'neuro amphetamine called Bromo DMA'

They were hectic, loved them myself, more than LSD, but got a bit much after the first 24 hours lol

They were everywhere in the early 90's, as well as Tiles, Redlines, and other thick laminated computer print out blotters containing the same stuff.

I think they were the reason I got into MDMA and amphetamines, they were a really good mix of empathy, energy, and wacky fluro visuals without the head fuck of lsd :)

Large on thick glossy Cardboard (approx 2mm) = commonly used for DOx substances as the dose for LSD is very low. 100 times less atleast.
Tasted terrible when chewed = was it bitter?? DOx is very bitter.
Extremely potent = prob laced with a strong dose of it.
Always extremely dirty- acne, stomach cramps and very intense
Very visual, long lasting =Typical DOx related effects

All indications point towards some form of DOx.

Back in the 90s there wernt as many RCs as of today so im really leaning towards this one.

There's no having to guess what they are, I know for a fact they were DOB. It has been showing it's head in Australia since the 80's.
I read years ago on a DEA website that it was first 'discovered' in Australia, so there must have been someone synthing it here.
