you've certainly been here before
and i know what we share
would block out other thoughts i have
i would be back in that place again, becoming more callous, concerned
more about technique and desires
more than any emotional aspects.
it would be odd at first, certainly,
for i've been rather proud lately, but its all still mine for the asking
i had some lofty aspirations, climbed up onto my self-constructed platform..
and waited
and watched
and wasted
my time
and now, i'm considering climbing down from this tower
cause, really, it isn't what they made it out to be, and at least i know the rules for the other game...
so...how have you been..?
